Does anybody out there have friends that do shit that goes against your morality? and that when you think about it, if you weren't friends with them, these things would really get on your wick a lot more than they do? I'm actually pretty sure everyone does to be honest, I guess I'm actually using this now just to vent and it should probably be in the rants section lol.
But yeah, I have this one friend and my god if I didn't know her good side, I'd literally get so much more annoyed about the shit she pulls. She's a total whore, she does pot a lot, and then makes a point of telling me this even though she knows it goes totally against my beliefs, she's ditched me to go hang out with another guy across the pub because she had a chance of getting a drink out of him, she whines that she doesn't want to be in a relationship with anyone because she just likes being single, then a day or two later she has a boyfriend, she lends cash and then takes literally half a year to just give it back.
I know this doesn't exactly paint me as a good friend, but we all know our friends can piss us off, and that we all want to vent about them sometimes. Anyone else have this problem with some friends of theirs?

I have many complete and utter dicks as mate, but I love them for that reason. Then there are those who because they're your mate and you go way back or whatever, you're mates but otherwise you'd hate.
I have some complete pricks as mates, and they're brilliant b/c they're such assholes (they're just generally dicks to others). I have other mates who just piss you off heaps but are still great to have around most of the time.

My friend was hearing about some shit I've been doing recently and looked me dead in the face and say "If I didn't consider you a friend I'd hate you for everything you stand for now." I didn't know how to respond so I told him if he doesn't agree with what I'm doing tell me instead of saying shit like that.

I know a lot of people like that, one of my team mates is a right cunt but I put up with him because I have to and we have a lot of really close mutual friends.

In fact, one of my best friends is despised by A LOT of people because he is a HUGE dick. There are a lot of times where he will do or say something that I find to be really fucked up and I will tell him about it. It usually doesn't phase him, he'll usually just shrug it off or say something like that's how he feels (when he says something fucked up.)
I still remember a girl that I used to see absolutely hated it whenever I hung out around him or even mentioned his name, that's how bad she hated him. She would always tell me that I am an asshole, but i'm not a dick, that he's a dick and she doesn't want me to become like him.
What I always told her and what I always tell everyone that comes to me and tells me how badly they hate him is, I have known this buddy since pre-school. We have lived two streets away from eachother almost our entire lives, he's always been like that for as long as I've known him, to me it's not that my buddy is being a dick, it's just him and his personality and that's how i've always known him so it doesn't really bother me.
I love that guy though, we have such a tight bond, it's like a brotherhood. I would do anything for him and I know the same goes for him with me. Do I agree with everything he does and says? No, I know a lot of the shit he does and says is really fucked up. But you just gotta look past the bad and see the good. i have friends whom are probably some of the biggest assholes in the world but i think it comes down to one thing...i think the stuff they do that would ussualy bother us if it were someone else doesn't bother us as much when it's our mates doing it because we know them. yea, cuz u hang out with friends more than everyone else so after awhile at least 1 or 2 will piss u off.
there's a time or two almost every one of my friends acted like a jerk.
