If we go by critiques ratings on Rotten Tomatoes then The Rock is a very mediocre actor.

The Rock has played the lead role in about 15 movies (I am not counting the Fast and the Furious franchise as he played second fiddle to Paul Walker and Vin Diesel) and he has positive ratings for only 2 movies (The Rundown and Hercules) so about 90% of his movies were actually bad.He’s certainly not as good as Will Smith,Tom Cruise,Arnold Schwarzenegger,Brad Pitt, Sylvester Stallone etc as his fans make him seem to be.
