He has just become a typical, annoying cheap-heat heel. I like the fact that Punk can be a heel, but he admires the crowds love for him. But if he goes for the cheap-shot crowd heat in his own home-town, than that will piss me off.

Last week made it look as though they were heading in the right direction with Punk, but it's just completely jumped the shark this week. This will be like Austin's heel turn in 2001. Nobody wants to boo Punk or cheer the guys being pushed in his place, it's just going to be detrimental to the product and Punk's career.

I don't know why WWE does this. If he's over take advantage of it and push him to the moon tonight and make it an awesome show. Why try to squash the reaction he earned with bullshit like this? WWE wants us to buy him as the heel... at least that's what it looks like. I'd love for this to be the giant swerve of the year but the WWE really is that stupid to shit on the belt and the champion and all that it is supposed to mean in the business. Sadly for the WWE, any real wrestling fan is going to stand with Punk and the respect that a champion and the title deserve.
