Morrison's mistake was just dating Melina. You don't date a slut as a girlfriend. She will go around sleeping with everyone, and it's up to you to put a stop to it, but what happens when she fucks someone like Batista. Who would want to fight Batista? If Morrison fought Batista he would've been fired, if not he would've been jobbed so hard to death and then released when his contract was up. It's not about being a "pussy" per se, it's about being smart. He wasn't with Melina at that time so why should he have done anything? Fighting Batista would have done absolutely nothing to advance his career, it probably would have even killed it, go look at Booker after he fought Batista. It was a year long thing until he was finally beaten by Triple H at Summerslam in 2007.
