When I saw orton's interview this past smackdown it had me thinking..

"I'm willing to beat every superstar on the smackdown roster, to get another shot at Henry" is what Orton said or something along those lines.. So why not do exactly that.

First off, this storyline involves henry retaining the title until wrestlemania which in itself is unlikely, but let's say that happens.. Book orton so he isn't involved in a Championship match until wrestlemania, have him go through the entire roster, beating every superstar, some against jobbers on smackdown, and some being full on 20minute matches at PPV's, until we reach Wrestlemania.

Now what you've got is a monster heel and a monster face on an incredible hot streak going into their title match at wrestlemania.. But there's a third wheel, daniel bryan, a guy who's been in the background for a couple of months now, he says he's cashing in at Wrestlemania but nobody gives him a chance.. Even have the feud building up to wrestlemania with henry and orton going back and forth, completely ignoring Bryan as a contender during the feud. Bryan is just stood in the background, not getting involved.

Then when it comes to the actual wrestlemnia triple threat match for the title.. Have Daniel Bryan go over both of them. This would instantly make him a very credible champion, thus hopefully starting a length title reign :) I think the match iself would actually be pretty great aswell, because let's face it, nobody wants to see Henry in a singles match at wrestlemania.

Some of the parts of the storyline are very unlikely, i.e orton not getting another championship shot until wrestlemania, henry holding the championship until wrestlemania etc etc.. But if booked right, I think this could be a pretty great storyline...

What do you guys think?

one thing is for sure
henry will first feud with show and kane and hopefully retain till rumble
then sheamus is going to continue his feud with henry or it will be orton again
i dont know how to do it cause it really hurts me to not see christian in a title match where he goes over but now bryan is more important
have him go over sheamus and henry and with sheamus being champ

Only thing is that you're misjudging people's ability to perceive.

Some may say "Wow, Orton and Henry were booked well and Bryan still won, bravo to Bryan".

But some may say "Wow, Orton and Henry's build-ups were for nothing and they just threw Bryan out there for the surprise element, this sucks".

Personally, I'd love to the do checklist of beating people thing but with Bryan, not Orton. Have him have like a fucking bingo card with everybody's face on it, have him get caught up halfway with certain guys (so take three attempts on one of the bigger dogs like Sheamus or Orton) and then at the end have the guys he's beaten do like a guard of honour for him at WM.

I like it. I don't think a triple threat match between Henry, Orton, and Bryan is really that far-fatched, so I could consider it as a possibility.

Your angle could really turn into something intriguing if they present it right. Here's a guy WWE promotes as the "the most unstoppable monster" in the world, and another guy who has been the alpha male of SmackDown. And here's a guy who comes in as the underdog, and then cashing in his MITB briefcase... against two heavy-hitters with such an obvious size advantage at the grandest stage of 'em all. Just let Orton to act all dangerous & psychotic, and let Henry to behave like a monster, and have Bryan bump like crazy in the match. And then? Just allow Bryan to go over one of them with a straight fall or submission. That's a monumental title win if there ever was one.

However, I think WWE needs to start building him up more before he gets there. Right now, he's totally booked as a MITB holder who absolutely doesn't look like he will stand a chance to be a world champion. This way, it's easy for him to fall to the "underdog good guy" booking style. All WWE needs to do is slowly let him progress in terms of talent.

I bet you guys still remember his surprising return at SummerSlam last year. Yep, he totally outshined nearly everyone else on the match. The way Bryan was booked to fight against all odds & stay ahead of the numbers game was spot-on. I want to see that Daniel Bryan again. That's why, in my opinion he should take part in the Survivor Series bout and joins the babyface team. In this event, he should be made to SHINE. Have him score upset wins over several main eventers or former world champions, before he eventually succumbs to the sudden finisher from one of the heels.

From there, Bryan could simply state that he knows his record is full of blemishes. But that's okay. Because today is a clean slate. It's a new beginning for Daniel Bryan. All he has to do is make sure he will become champion when he cashes in the briefcase. Then, just start booking him more & more as a credible "Submission Specialist" that could pull off victories out of nowhere. His Guillotine Choke, LeBell Lock, Regal Stretch, etc. are all staples in his moveset that they should put over against mid-card heels consistently.

This way, it's inevitable that fans would start to pick up on his momentum and give off the sense that they have a genuine desire to see him compete in the main event & go up against the world champion at WrestleMania. So yeah, I'll admit, the way Bryan is booked & handled right now, from a kayfabe perspective, could turn out to be brilliant. It's more about the booking than anything Bryan will or won't do really.

Would probably prefer Bryan vs Orton in a one on one match, however with the quality of his work over the last few months I think Henry deserves to still be involved in some sort of major match for Mania and this is as good as match as any (plus could add something different to the storyline) so I cerainly wouldn't mind this taking palce what so ever.

Here's what I'd want.

Orton vs Henry non-title, Street Fight, this is so Orton can get his win back

Sheamus vs Bryan for the title, HBK style WM12 Boyhood Dream Face vs Face respect match

Regardless who he faces at WM(which it won't matter until after the RR), they need to do an evolution of D.Bryan type thing.

Right now he's barely on tv and if he is, he loses. They need to have him slowly start winning more and more and slowly evolving into an interesting gimmick so that by time he cashes in his MITB for WM, people can look back on how much winning MITB has changed his career as he went from winning mitb, to losing, to slowly starting to win, to now someone who looks like he can win the world title and hold it for quite some time

The way I see it... Bryan needs two feuds before we get to Mania. A short one to re-establish him as someone relevant (going into Vengeance) and then a more heated rivalry with that will help really get us on his side (Survivor Series, TLC and the Royal Rumble) preferably with someone we can buy being a main event player in the first place. The key is it needs a real story and things need to really heat up. Otherwise when he comes out on top at the end of it, no one will give a shit. If they do it right they can re-invent Bryan in the process. Night after Royal Rumble Bryan reminds us that he's main eventing Wrestlemania..

The first feud could be anyone (of relevance) really.. he just needs a credible win. Obviously beating a Heath Slater or Drew McIntyre wont do the trick. But a win over a Sin Cara or even a strong competitive IC match with Cody Rhodes (where Bryan wins by DQ after a run in starting off his next feud and Cody keeps the belt and moves onto whatever.)

The second feud would preferably be with a guy like Christian. It needs to last a few months and get personal though. The more intense it gets, the more the fans are going to get behind Bryan. Christian cost him the IC title at Vengeance.. he gets screwed at Survivor Series, he gets screwed at TLC... then when he finally gets his big win over Christian at the Royal Rumble people will see him as a much more legit threat going up against Randy Orton.

Post Royal Rumble the momentum going into the Elimination Chamber is important. Putting him in the match itself and letting him have a strong showing in the ring with guys like Henry, Sheamus, Christian and Orton will help to further cement him as a threat to Orton. Orton will win... but after Bryan's taken a pretty sizable beating from Mark Henry during the match.

Going into 'Mania the question will be... Bryan did pretty damn good in the Elimination Chamber... dude almost won... what's going to happen in a one on one match with Bryan 100 percent?

Post Wrestlemania... as much as I love Bryan... I honestly see him being the first to cash in and fail. However.. Mania 28 - Orton vs Bryan should be match of the year. It should be damn competitive and at the end look like it really could of gone either way. Bryan needs a bit more time in my opinion hanging around the top before he's ready for the belt. Summer Slam 2012 for example - Bryan wins the big one.

I think it'd be more intimidating if he directly says he's cashing it in AFTER the match. So both superstars in the match have to watch themselves because they know that if they win, the second after the 3 count is made, Bryan will be in the ring and cashed in MITB and the match would be started right away since the winner would more than likely already be on his feet.
