I think the term you're looking for is "IWC darling" and that is somebody who is much adored by the Internet Wrestling Community. So people like CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels etc who the internet fans go crazy over whenever they do anything half decent.

Pretty much everyone who wrestled for ROH in 2002 is either loved or hated by the IWC, very few in between. On one hand you have Danielson, Low-Ki, Daniels and the other side you have the SAT, the Christopher Street Connection, and Dan Maff.
