I think IWC should start a "campaign" claiming the return of the Celtic Warrior.
Yeah, I know it sounds pretty stupid. The IWC isn't homogeneus, many of them hate Sheamus anyway and WWE don't care about us.
But I think most of us would agree that Sheamus needs a change. His face character has failed getting over and it's WWE fault. Sheamus created a character by himself, a character to wich he put his soul. I know the "Celtic Warrior" gimmick wasn't over the top in WWE. It was principally the attitude and the looks. I always wanted them to develop that character with more mythical background, the fiery red hand and all of that. But anyway I loved the Sheamus we saw until 2012.
Now Sheamus is the lame smiling cookie cutter face, cracking bad jokes and being "lucky warms" as you like to say. Also he's nearly invincible, meaning he has turn into another John Cena.
Because the most of us think Sheamus is in fact very good when he is not being portrayed as a smiling face who talks about not being a bully, I think we must try something. Perhaps initiating "Celtic Warrior" chants at the tapings, carrying signs or flooding twitter with posts claiming Sheamus to be reunited with his former attitude and heritage.
Well, I guess I'm being ridiculous. I created this post because I am a huge Sheamus fan and I'm ashamed of this Great White crap. The true Sheamus is the Sheamus of the mean look, the crossos necklace, the barbarism... the badassism and uniqueness, in conclussion.

No, he's much better right now and is very over. His run as the "Celtic Warrior" sucked chode.
You'll probably see the return of the celtic warrior or something similar once the "great white" gimmick has run its course. he's over right now but personally i think to get him to the next level he should be a stone cold esque tweener where he beats the hell out of heels and faces to get what he wants, and of course drop the cheesey babyface smile.
Very weird idea and if anything for whatever the reason Vince would give a fuck about the IWC opinion about Sheamus he would go for the most popular one, depush him.

no that is stupid and no wonder this thread hasn't got that many replies. Sheamus is more over as a face and well, whats wrong with him as a face? He's credible and over, he was cowardly as a heel. If there was something special about him being heel, like the awesome heels Punk and Orton were, then maybe but he was nothing special.
I just want him to use that powerbomb version he used to do more often as a match finish.

If you really want to have a successful fanbase campaign in pro wrestling (which is usually taken not seriously), I suggest you make a viral video. Again, this can be difficult since wrestling fans are typically shy and even ashamed of themselves.

Your post lost credibility by saying he isn't over when he is incredibly over. How can people ignore simple facts such as these? It's not hard to notice. He's over, and one of the few over faces on the roster (though I wouldn't say he's "very" over). However I hate 'The Great White' as his nickname and would much prefer 'The Celtic Warrior'.

I would just like him to stay face but become a little more BA and a little less "funny", also I agree the "great white" nick is very bad but I think they don't want to push too much the fact he's not american by calling him the "celtic warrior" again now that he is a face.
