How good was seeing Lalwer getting the crap beat out of him, forgive me I only watched raw last night.
At the end of the match when Punk was beating on Lawler I was loving it, I was sitting on my couch yelling get him Punk Kill the old fool finish him finish him!! When Cena came out saying get the cage up, I was like shut up you nerd. LOL I was hoping Punk would put him in the vice and make him say it. Classic best ending to raw in a while.

I was just thinking how all the smarks would love it because Punk laid out the complaints we've been seeing on here for weeks. IWC turns on Lawler. So does "Mark" the puppet err Punk. I didn't care either way really. Weak main event was all I got out of it. The Cena part was mind numbingly stupid. Raise the cage! Raise the cage! ....5 minutes later...Raise the cage! I've lost the use of my limbs! I've seen every aspect of production and know that you just have to press one button but... RAISE THE DAMN CAGE!!

Ok, I'm not one of those on here that enjoy bashing everything related to Lawler, but I must admit that I did enjoy it myself. I was actually like 'don't stop, beat the living daylights outta him' etc. And when Cena came running down the ramp, I thought he was going to climb the cage and get inside only for him to be yelling for the cage to get raised. Cringeworthy really. How many times have we seen the cage climbed before? How long does it take for the cage to get raised? fpalm

i think the main event is being unfairly called boring. they kept it fairly short and it showcased the ruthless heel side of punk and the never-say-die side of lawler. the king sold well and there was no shame in his performance. i enjoyed lawler getting his ass handed to him based purely on my like for punk as i was rooting for the heel.
