Considering my last thread on Roman Reigns was so well received I figured I'd do one on Cesaro. I'm guessing I'll get a lot of heat for this one unlike the last but we all are different people with our own opinions and I welcome yours soooooo....

First off I would have Cesaro lose at Payback. Not clean of course. Paul Heyman should attempt to interfere but it finally backfires causing Cesaro to lose. They face off at MITB. Cesaro wins but Paul Heyman gets on the mic and says "Thanks but no thanks. Cesaro is above 'midcard accomplishments.' Much like my client, Brock Lesnar, who ended the Undertaker's undefeated streak at Wrestlemania, my client Cesaro is here to be the main event and crush the dreams of the many wannabes of this industry. My client, Cesaro, is the fastest rising star in WWE and will soon legitimize himself with this company's greatest prize" or something to that effect. Cesaro then drops the U.S. title on the layed out Sheamus. Later that night, they show one of the MITB participants layed out in the back. Cesaro comes out to take his place and wins the briefcase.

The next night, Daniel Bryan goes on about how he has beaten everyone the Authority had thrown at him and he wants someone new. He goes on the whole night about this, and Stephanie makes RAW's main event Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton (anyone will do, Orton just comes to mind. To be honest, Bryan doesn't even need to wrestle that night) then Daniel Bryan beats him. Cesaro comes and attacks him from behind. Gives him a classic #1 contender, post-match beatdown (which usually only consists of one or two moves) in which Stephanie comes out and says "Daniel allow me to introduce your next opponent who has decided to cash in his briefcase at Battleground, the Swiss Superman Cesaro." Picking apart an already down Bryan will make cesaro seem weak and historically this way of winning the belt has not ended well for the winners. They face at Battleground and Daniel hits Cesaro with his running knee. Cesaro gets pinned for the 3 count with his foot on the rope. The following weeks, Heyman complains about how Daniel Bryan won nothing and Cesaro deserves his rematch (a win right off the bat does nothing for Cesaro. If he did there would be no chase for the title, which everyone knows is where the real money is and what really builds new stars not the actual win itself). They have a rematch at Summerslam where Cesaro beats Bryan clean and gets the title. They have their rematch at Night of Champions where Cesaro wins with assistance from Heyman or whoever Bryan's next feud is with.

Eventually at Survivor Series he would tag with Brock Lesnar to face Batista and Randy Orton (again anyone will do). By this time, they would have turned Cesaro face by booking him against heels. It would be a classic moment where the wrestler gets massive cheers while the manager is hated (which happens quite often for many Paul Heyman pairings). After the tag match, Lesnar would look at Cesaro with disdain after Heyman raises his hand and gives Cesaro so much praise. Cesaro eventually has a one on one match with Daniel Bryan in a face vs. face TLC match for the title at TLC. Heyman accidentally costs Cesaro the win. At the Royal Rumble, Cesaro would have his rematch but Brock Lesnar would return and cost Cesaro the win. This leads to Brock cutting a promo telling Paul he has to choose right now who he stays with. Paul seems torn and weasels his way out of deciding.

Cesaro feels no need to entertain Brock Lesnar or Paul Heyman and decides all he wants is the world title back. He confronts the Royal Rumble winner and challenges him for the right to the world title match. Somehow he talks him into it and they face at the chamber. Paul Heyman costs Cesaro the match officially turning on Cesaro. Brock comes out the next night with Paul Heyman and basically says how he wants to manage winners not flops or whatever Heyman says. It's usually some new improvised schtick every promo with the exceptions of his usual lines. Cesaro challenges Brock at wrestlemania. They face off. Cesaro wins and WWE has just legitimized a new star.

I know I'll get heat for saying Cesaro should get the belt so early but sometimes guys need pushes and sometimes guys need a force to get to the top. Look at HHH, Randy Orton, Edge, even Kurt Angle. They didn't have this massive following from the crowd to put them in the main event. Creative forced them as hard as they could into the main event and it just happened to have worked. I remember no one took HHH seriously as a champion until around No Way Out 2000. Most of them didn't even become true top guys until their second reign anyway. They would usually get the belt, drop it, face some big legitimate star (Orton had Taker, Edge, had Foley, HHH had Foley) then go back in for the title hunt

Turn him face first of all. Which each passing day he loses steam and more desperately needs the face turn. I'd have to see first if fans even care at this point, though, and go from there with having him go over some despicable heels, but have him lose to Lesnar, and maybe give him an IC title reign.
I don't think it's that fans don't care about him, it's that fans don't care about his opponents. Let's be honest, not many care about RVD at this point and (sorry no offense) but not many people care about Jack swagger either. More people care about Shaemus and he's a major step up but Sheamus doesn't have the same stock price he had maybe 2 years ago

Aka you wanted to attempt to piss me off so decided to make no sense.

Yeah, no, you're deaf if you think Cesaro is as over as he was post Mania. Swagger ain't got nothing to do with Cesaro coming out to damn near silence on LIVE WWE Main Event against Mark Henry. Dude's losing steam, that's how it is.

Forget it, not discussing this due to your needless attempt in trying to argue or offend rather than converse with me.
You're the only one getting angry and arguing here. Again the mark Henry thing. Who the fuck cares about Mark Henry? It is a matter of opponents. Why do you think Rusev didn't get over?

Just because someone makes one comment about your favorite wrestler you get pissed off and want to retreat. Reminds me of South Park when Cartman would hear something he didn't like and say "Screw you guys I'm going home." Only difference is that his character is an 8 yr old child....
