Neville and Calisto would make awesome additions to a Cruiserweight division!

A big reason that I think Neville is not doing too well on the main roster is that he's always wrestling guys that are a completely different style. If a Cruiserweight division would start he could really shine in a high-flying match I believe.

This would give quite a few of the wrestlers a new purpose and won't make the roster feel so crammed I believe.

Also, I was gonna say Cruiserweight Championship and Hardcore Championship but I know that with the PG-era the Hardcore Championship is just unrealistic.

It would be fine since they have guys like Rich Swann Sami Zayn Kallisto Neville Breeze Stardust Daniel Bryan Sin Cara Heath Slater etc. It would spice things up a bit. And give those guys something to do.

Yeah, bring back the Cruiserweight title for guys like Neville and Kalisto. I'd rather them have competitive matches over that, than to be squashed by Sheamus every other week. The people whining about the supposed glass ceiling it creates are ignoring that the glass ceiling currently exists and guys like this have nothing to show for it. At least with the Cruiserweight Division, they could showcase the full extent of their abilities with someone on their own level.

On the one hand, I'd enjoy the workrate. On the other hand, we all saw how WCW just used the division as an excuse to hold guys down. I have a hard time believing that WWE in 2015 wouldn't do the same thing.

It'd be a nice little fulcrum to build stories around for guys like Nevile and Stardust.

Right now they just get quietly thrown into that week's 6-man mishmatched tag match and aren't really given the oppertunity to connect with the audience. The one thing I really miss about the Attitude era was that creative had someone for everyone... no matter where you were on the card you got some level of mic time and you were booked into a fued with a clear motivation and advisary. A lower card belt would give creative something to give the guys currently stuck down the bottom *something* to fight around.

1. WWE does NOT know how to do cruiserweights. They'll ruin them by having it's champions.....
2. Job to the bigger guys. Making the title seem completely worthless
3. The last Cruiserweight champion was Hornswaggle..let that sink in
4. WWE cannot even manage the titles they have now. They need to take the IC and US, retire them, and make one new belt.

That's pretty much exactly what I was gonna say. These guys are held back anyway, why not have something prestigious for them to chase after? I really don't see how it could be a bad idea. Most of these guys are just used as mid-card fodder in squash and filler matches. This will make many of them have a purpose. I see great talent in guys like Neville and Calisto and I believe that a division for them will make them shine.

It could be great, there's a ton of guys who could raise their stock in a division that suits them. Neville would be much better served as a the charismaless Cruiserweight Champ than Charismaless, aimless, midcarder #4

As far as it creating Glass Ceilings I say BS, WWE has shown that if you are a true draw they will use you as one of their top guys regardless of size see Mysterio, HBK, Eddie, Jeff Hardy, Punk, and Bryan. Unless he improves dramatically Neville's talent doesn't warrant that high of a spot. But he could still provide value in a undercard champ role.

Weird how you say you can't get behind "terrible ideas" by giving people a negative rep when this was proposed recently, then you come on here and promote it like it's great idea with bold highlights. I guess hypocrisy needs to be redefined.

Hate to break it to the guys who say the cruiserweight division creates a "glass ceiling" but very few cruiserweights are ever going any further anyways. Most high flyers dont have what it takes to be WHC. This goes back to the vanilla midget/indie argument.

Most all of them are cruiser weights now, so it would just be another meaningless belt.
