Theres no obvious, logical way to do it right now. You'd need a strong heel group to feud with them and (obviously) for everyone to be on the same brand. A lengthy, well booked Roman heel run immediately preceding it (ie ending with him turning face and joining them) might help to bring the fans round to him a little. And a Shield/Bullet Club feud doesnt seem like a bad idea some point down the line if they can build the latter back up as a legit stable again. But this stuff should be at least 2-3 years away because its way too early for a Shield reunion imo.

Any Shield reunion has been totally ruined due to Roman keeping the shield gear and music. A reunion would just be seen as Roman and his two lackeys and with the way people are conditioned to boo as soon as Roman's music hits they would probably even be booed if they team up and come out to that theme.

Against a dangerous new threat stable or to finally end the Authority. The Club would be perfect for the Shield to oppose if they add Balor and make Gallows and Anderson a actual threat.

The quickest way would be to put them on opposite sides in a Survivor series match, obviously with The Shield being the last survivors.

Then a threat walks down to ringside, say, The Wyatts, and they have to choose, in ring, whether they are going to finish the match, or stand off, balls to the wall as The Shield against The Wyatts.

I wouldn't.

If I did, it certainly wouldn't be 'til like 2018 at the absolute earliest.

It would take something crazy to justify it, like Cena going heel, Punk returning, and Lesnar joining them to terrorize the roster. That's the level of ridiculous shit you'd need to justify it

There ain't a damn thing on the roster right now worthy of The Hounds of Justice. Plus, they've lost too much of their coolness factor as individuals since the split. The Shield can never be what it was. The Shield...is dead.

I wouldn't.

They need to get over on their own.

I wouldn't. Don't flog a dead horse. They had a great run as a trio and I probably would have kept them together for another year or so. However now it has happened don't rehash it. We want NEW storylines not same old.

I wouldn't bring them back, it just hampers Ambrose and makes him the 3'rd wheel between two vastly inferior talents. If I was going to bring them back, though, I would just do it. No fancy storyline, no convoluted explanation, they're just back together and that's it. What's the point of some big explanation when the fanbase is just gonna accept them back together because they want to see it? It's WWE's fault, but for better or worse, clearly worse, they've created a scenario where everybody just accepts that it's all totally fake and nothing is taken seriously, and nothing matters, so in the context of that environment, what is the point of putting together some fake, long explanation for why they're willing to trust Seth Rollins again when nobody's going to buy it to begin with and frankly nobody cares? Whatever fans are left are just happy to see them whether it's explained away or not.
