Such a great feud

 

This is a iconic feud and one of the defining moments in ECW history as they were 2 of the baddest wrestlers in ECW while being in their absolute prime and they went on a whole year without touching each other, which was a perfect storytelling as well.

 

I wonder if WWE hired THL youtube channel to do their uploads now because it is eerily similar now with these Story Of Series. Great job in the last few months with the content. Maybe Netflix is not having the catalog moved over, but will they ever release 80s WWF Superstars and Wrestling Challenge shows in full with exclusives like Jake DDTing Hogan to applause?

 

Sabu and Taz actually hated each other in real life.

 

There are so many legendary moments from ECW but the number one spot may be the confrontation between these two at November to Remember 1996 (36:10 in OP's video). I still get goosebumps seeing it.

Skimming the video and it seems that it misses the Hardcore TV moment when Sabu ran from the back to go after Taz in the ring and spoke on the mic for the very first time in wrestling just a couple of weeks before Barely Legal. At the time, Styles even feigned shock that Sabu knew English because of his gimmick. Great stuff

 

Sabu spoke on the mic at A Matter of Respect 96 too, beforehand.
