They've been calling it sports entertainment since the 1980s. Sports entertainment means it's scripted.

They have to though. It makes them look dumber pretending that they're a real company when ppl know wrestling is scripted.

Though that's the thing about WWE, it's so scripted that its so hard to tell when something is real and when something is fake(so it is sorta good for wwe because even though ppl know its scripted, they still think some moments might be real) but the bad part of this is that some moments might seem so real but they're actually fake, ppl end up overreacting and wwe just has to tell ppl that it's scripted.
