I personally and primarily pay with debit/credit cards..and online purchases..i rarely use cash but keep it for those 'in case of emergency' things i need. Most of my buddies use cards and use the electronic methods of payments. I do have one friend though who still uses mostly cash.

How many of you still "primarily" use cash? If so, is there a reason why you mostly use it?

Also...Are we soon becoming a "cashless" society?

I mostly use my credit card, but make sure I pay off at least 90% of the bill before the end of the month due date.

Recently I noticed that I was getting a number of odd charges and couldn't figure out where they were coming from. Then one day I walked in on our parrot, Charlie, ordering stuff on the internet with my credit card.:faint: Luckily, due to not having any thumbs he keyboards slowly and I was able to stop him before he could send in his order.:bs:

I still use my credit card, but I keep it well hidden!

I always use cash unless i'm buying something online. Then I only use my debit card. I don't have a single credit card. Probably a good thing =).

I pay for everything via debit/credit card which the cab drivers in New Orleans tried to make a problem when I was there for Mania. I knew for a fact they could take my cards but they would turn the system off manually and then claim their systems were down. They wanted my cash and I don't do cash. So I told them to either call it in or it's a free ride. They were pissed but they were dishonest so no fucks were given.

Cash for everything except online purchases which I use PayPal for. Much more convenient and quicker as well.

I've been using my debit/credit cards at retailers/online since I first got them. So for about 15 years now. Way ahead of the curve there.

I'll usually only use cash if the transaction demands it.

I buy weed with cash as my dealer won't accept card transactions.
