I'm kind of wondering this as sometimes I do feel that Ted Dibiase, often get's forgotten about when people are discussing their favourite mic workers, you hear about The Rock, Piper, Flair etc... the most, which is all very valid, however I do feel sometimes that Ted Dibiase, kinda of gets lost in the wind, even though for me personally, he was one of the greatest talkers to grace the mic.

I feel that Ted Dibiase is a rare breed, simply because he is just a great, great all rounder, fantastic in the ring, fantastic at the gimmick, charisma through the roof and could talk for England .... the dude was just very special, though I do feel that sometimes his mic work, is a little forgotten about, hence why I wanted to make this thread.

What are your thoughts on Dibiase as a mic worker, favourite promo's of Dibiase, what is your favourite quote from the Million Dollar Man? ... I would love to hear some thoughts and vibes here and share some memories too?

Doesn't matter if this is WWE, Mid South Wrestling ... anything from Dibiase's career when it comes to the mic work, I'd love to hear .... feel free to link any video's too as that would be very cool.

So thoughts and vibes in regards to Dibiase on the mic ... would love to hear some thoughts and vibes from you guys :)

Dibiase is right there in the discussion of greatest heel talkers of all time. I'll admit myself that I downgrade him on the mic from time to time as well. He had everything that was necessary for a great promo, charisma, the voice and a rare heel charm.

And not forgetting that laugh, which is still iconic today, whenever Dibiase does appearances, you can guarantee he'll be asked to do that laugh lol

Yeah, the dude had it completely, I actually prefer him to some of the greats that are mentioned a lot, it's kind of hard, cause I always enjoy good mic work, but I do feel that Dibiase, is among the greats at the top, yet he does sometimes seem to be forgotten about when it comes to his mic work and these conversations.

Flair was great, Rock was great, Piper was etc.. Heenan, Heyman ... the list is endless, but Dibiase was also great among them, so would be cool to hear some specific conversations in regards to Dibiase's mic work I feel :)

As the Million Dollar Man he was pretty much untouchable. If I was to review his promos and put anything under 'cons' I can't imagine what I'd possibly put there. Certainly the best evil laugh ever, and that's not an easy thing to do.

'Uh Ted, I just think perhaps you could improve on........'

He had it all. The laugh, the cadence, the base and boom, personally I can't think of a better heel on the mic from that era WWF. He talked the crowd into the buildings.

He and Jake Roberts are very underrated.
Ted is up there for sure....

Jake Roberts underrated? Maybe by the general forum posters but not around here.

My favorite heel talkers of the territorial era no particular order:
Jake Roberts, Ted DiBiase, Roddy Piper, Jerry Lawler, Arn Anderson, Ric Flair, Nick Bockwinkel, Buddy Rose, Austin Idol, Dream Machine, Masked Superstar, Michael Hayes, Terry Funk, Randy Savage, Masked Assassin #1

Characters? Yep. Easily.

Otherwise, no.
In what way, would you say no?

Exactly, when you put it like that, I'm the same, I can't think of anything Ted Dibiase could have improved on .... at all.

I mean his character is legendary. His wrestling career to me, is forgettable. Strange case. That said, he's an all time fav.
