Same way Stone Cold survived being tossed into a river and being ran over, I guess.

This is entertainment, but the hazards....I guess at times they weren't real.

The Attitude Era was something else.

 

I don't know, but hanging doesn't necessarily kill you, even if you stop moving. You can just get choked but be brought down before it's too late.

They had a similar thing with AJ Styles in 2020, they buried him alive and The Undertaker rode off with rock music playing. He just came back without explanation.

 

Oh wait, there was that and Rey Mysterio actually being thrown off a building lol

Even better was how he decided to join the Corporate Ministry a few weeks later.

Despite the goofery, Bossman being hanged is still one of the cooler visuals of the Attitude Era and something I doubt they'd ever do today or in the foreseeable future.

Lot of goofy shit went down back then that people will gloss over because of nostalgia

 

It was the Attitude Era. Nothing needed explaining, nothing was off limits. It was all part of the magic.

 

He missed the post Mania Raw and then the next week, Shane was talking to him backstage about how they have to deal with the Ministry and was like "Look what they did to your neck man! That was crazy!" or something to that effect and Bossman looked slightly annoyed like "Yeah, right?!"

And that was it, lol.
