how do i change the text of my posts.

when you make apost up top there is a drop down box to change the type of text and the box beside it is the size

Posting in a different font, let alone bold and italics, won't add anything to your posts, though. Some may even be irritated by it.

Also, if you've downloaded fonts and use them, they will display on your display but not on others' who don't have the font.
