Enough of the cowardly, running away bullshit, heels need to be like Triple H who take no shit and want to make the faces their bitch.
and he probably wouldn't book anyone else like him.helps when you book your own programs lol
You're a joke.Anyways they book christian as a kinda good heel against sheamus. He atacked him a couple of times etc. But yeah i agree with you.
No one's starting a comparison thread. OP is making the very valid point that it would be a lot better if the heels had actual power in their feuds instead of being the typical tail-between-legs that they are 90% of the time. Look at what happened when they gave Barrett that sort of dominance. If they had closed the chapter on him properly, and actually let him rid WWE of Cena (temporarily, of course, but not the fake "I bought a ticket so my face is still here every week" thing) then he would in all likelihood still be a top guy today. Can only be ONE.
There is only one man on the current roster who can pull off a heel run to the caliber of Triple H. His name is Dean Ambrose. Yeah I said it. You know why? Because it's the truth. Believe it.
While he's apart of a 3-man unit that was built to eventually build a big time babyface in Roman Reigns, he's going to be somewhat shackled and restricted in what he can and cannot do. Once that leash is cut and he's given the opportunity to go full blown heel on someone, he will exceed expectations of his doubters. He is a villain at heart. He seems too goofy to be a heel
The problem with this is ever since the Attitude Era these particular heels get cheered.Enough of the cowardly, running away bullshit, heels need to be like Triple H who take no shit and want to make the faces their bitch.
True. But usually when they attack or screw over someone who is actually beloved by the majority of the crowd (Daniel Bryan), it works to establish the guy as a villain. It especially works when said heel beats up someone who is relatively helpless. Remember when Triple H had his way with Jim Ross? The problem with this is ever since the Attitude Era these particular heels get cheered.
I agree with OP..It's common knowledge that if you want a more succesful wrestling angle (or story in general) you need to make the heel the more powerful guy for a significant part of the thing so as to make the comeback and eventual victory actually satisfying to an audience. However, the prototypical "super" babyface in the vein of Cena (but started long before him) has also been traditionally successful too, so it's a case of the rules of narrative butting heads with the rules of booking. I think that WWE will start leaning more towards the former in times to come though.

Agree. Potential for him to be a psychological, sadistic bastard is thru the roof. There is only one man on the current roster who can pull off a heel run to the caliber of Triple H. His name is Dean Ambrose. Yeah I said it. You know why? Because it's the truth. Believe it.
Newsflash Heel HHH ran away ALOT of times. People have short term memory.Enough of the cowardly, running away bullshit, heels need to be like Triple H who take no shit and want to make the faces their bitch.
