Except, TNA (or rather Dixie Carter) said that "change was coming" but it went nowhere. I'm still waiting for the announcement that'll change everything. At least Dixie could bullshit by saying that it was Impact going on the road or something.
How do people still not get that the change she was talking about was Hogan and Eric "taking over" the company?

As much as sting sucked during his hast run, they need him now, bad. They absolutely shot themselves in the foot here, especially by blowing their wad w/ steiner a week early. If they had just waited one week, they would have had at least one new guy to debut that wasn't with the company, and if they had to round out the group with guys who were already there it would have been ok. Got to be honest though, i kind of hope sting fucks them over and goes to WWE too, they need to stop planning storylines around unsigned talent. This isn't the first time this kind of thing has happened.
Its 2011. TNA doesn't need Sting. No matter what. There is no legit reason anyone on this forum can provide me with why TNA 'needs' Sting in 2011. None. Sting brings zero to the table. People assume that because Steiner popped up then that means the rest of the Mafia is going to as well. Steiner can just be apart of the back up plan Angle was referring to but 'They' might actually be Dixie Carter, Angle, Steiner, Crimson, and maybe 1-2 other surprises not named Booker T, Nash, or Sting that will help Take TNA back for Dixie. Likely suspects are Hernandez and Wolfe which would be awesome and would also cost TNA far less money (and produce better matches) then bringing back Nash, Booker T, or Sting.

Also people are forgetting that Foley is still under contract and may be apart of the new 'They'.

TNA has not shot themselves in the foot. The fans who read the dirt-sheets and got their hopes up of a MEM reunion have shot themselves in the foot.

This proves 3 things:

1. Taping your show 3 weeks in advance, is retarded.
2. Not having guys signed, sealed and delivered before a big angle starts, is retarded.
3. TNA ran out of shit to throw at the wall.

Sucks, because there's no way an MEM reunion works with just Angle/Steiner/Sting, and throwing in Crimson/Morgan. The latter are out of place. But they're boxed into a hole now and basically have to go through with it.

Thanks for proving my point. It's reached the level where Spike is asking them to recycle a recent idea. Therefore, they've ran out of shit to throw at the wall.

There's zero direction in the company right now. You would think that Anderson winning the title would have been a much bigger moment for the company, considering how well they built him up and how well he's played his character.

That's obviusly not what I meant. Spike is in charge of Impact. House show reports also prove that.

If TNA was planning a MEM return without Booker, Nash, and Sting being signed to the roster, they fucking deserve to be screwed for such stupidity. I bet WWE also knew TNA was planning MEM to return without even signing those guys, so they offered Nash and Booker a ton of money for the Rumble returns just so they could screw TNA over. I'm laughing my ass off at this hahaha

:lmao at the stupidity of this thread. First off believing the Observer? Stupid.

Secondly, It was reported Booker was not going to TNA way before WWE signed him for the Rumble. Which again, makes Observer look stupid for the 50th time this year.

I don't see how It's impossible to book Angle, Steiner, Sting as the centerpieces of the Mafia. Considering...They built it in the first place.

Also, It's not impossible for TNA to make Crimson the "Randy Orton" of the group.

If TNA was willing to bring back NWO with half members, I do not see why It can't be any different with MEM. Just add a few selected members or pull a swerve and make an Immortal member (AJ Styles) the replacement.

It's sad, everyone is taking joy of something that we do not know is true quite frankly. It's clear everyone loves when anything remotely involves TNA doing something negative. It's like this section is sheep to the dirtsheets.

Well TNA isn't known for making stars of young guys in factions and with likes of Angle, Sting and Steiner taking up time how much is going to be left for Crimson to shine. Just take a look at Thursday's show where Crimson was in the ring for about a min, and then disappeared never to be seen again. And as we've seen with Morgan's horrible face turn, random swerves just to even the face/heel numbers usually don't work. Of course the worst part is that TNA didn't have a good enough plan in place to talk Spike out of wanting the Mafia in the first place.

Let's be honest.

Scott Steiner needs to retire from the ring immediately. He can't work anymore and he's disabled. Dude is gonna be one of the true sad cases in wrestling. He has a good one liner here and there and has been stealing money ever since.

He has no business being on TV anymore.

They are damaged goods at this point, no way TNA brings them back. Would be like putting Jim Duggan in the MEM.
Meh, I'd be fine with it if TNA brought back Booker & Nash. Even with the circumstances.

If not the "New" Main Event Mafia should be Angle, Sting, Steiner, Morgan & Crimson.

If they can't get Sting, then "They" might need a new name... I for one hope Sting returns.

On a side note, Samoa Joe is in a feud with Pope. So I'd leave him out of it... for now......
