A list of participants is not releaved before the match, as that would ruin any surprise returns WWE have planned. Don't be at all surprised if someone has a match early on the card and then enters the Rumble as well (I think Ziggler is more likely than Orton or Miz though).

No. There'll be around 10 surprise entrants in the Rumble because WWE doesn't have a big enough rooster. Oh and WWE never announces the Rumble participants before the Rumble

They've announced 34 superstars so far.

There are 34 according to http://www.wwe.com/shows/royalrumble/exclusives/rumbleparticipants11. I'm sure there will be 2 or 3 hofers and most likely HHH and maybe even Alex Ryley if jobber is needed.

411mania claims that there's 6 open slots left as of today, so I assume 3 of them are gonna be the surprise entrants, and 3 will be just some thrown in jobbers or something.

Chris Masters, JTG, Kane, Big Show, Kofi Kingston, Santino and Vladimir were confirmed last night on Smackdown.

As of now, the claims are that there's only 3 surprise entrants, and so far, the rumors are that these 3 surprise entrants are Papa Shango, Booker T, and Triple H (Triple H being the only one of the three that's probably a sure thing).

I can't see Steamboat being involved after what happened when he was attacked by Nexus, seems like it would be too much of a risk. Other than that I think you're pretty much spot on.

I'm thinking Taker might make an appearance. I don't know what condition he's in right now but, bearing in mind we're on the Road To Wrestlemania, now is the time to start building his match. If he were to make a late entry and the whole Corre were to pile in and eliminate him fairly quickly it would do the job.

Booker T is rumoured to be in talks, and even if he don't return full time he could still pull an RVD.

HHH is probs a surprise return.

The two legends. Whoever they are.

Then two more guys. Christian hopefully. Maybe Bourne if he's healed up or perhaps someone like Tarver making his in ring return.

Triple H is pretty much for sure. Other than that I am guessing Tarver gets a spot randomly because he has been all about random recently. King being in the Rumble is also a good guess. I would love a Nash appearance but I highly doubt it.

Looking at the list, it's amazing how many of them haven't been in a rumble before. Really drives home the whole youth movement.
