Nia actually making contact with a worked punch is considered a botch, the fact that it caused injury doesn't make any less a botch unless you are suggesting Nia actually punched her deliberately.
Like I said. If we are gonna count injuries based on wrestlers injuring opponents then I can list hundreds. Besides Becky getting punched in the face didn't lead to something good. She got punched in the face and had to go under concussion protocol. Not good. That injury alone got her removed from a big match. Not good.

To botch in professional Wrestling means to attempt a scripted move or spoken line that does not come out as it was originally planned due to a mistake, miscalculation, a slip-up, or an error in judgment. Many botches are harmless, such as a wrestler simply flubbing a line or missing a cue, or falling before his or her opponent's move actually connects. At times, however, a poorly timed or executed move has resulted in serious injury or even death.
So the yes Nia botched in the definition of the Wrestling term "Botch",

Yes she had a concussion and yes she missed a big match but she went onto a bigger match and Becky's "The Man" character took off after that punch. Whether you personally like the character or not it struck a cord with casual fans after this and propelled her into the Main Event of Wrestlemania, I think its a safe bet to say if the Becky v Ronda happened at SvS as planned Becky would have lost and not gone on to win the Royal Rumble and win a Mania main event. So again yes something good came from Nia's botch.

No. It's not a botch. It was an injury accident. Happens more times then you think. It's always a bad thing.

No. Becky's Man character didn't take off. It took off already before that. If anything, that injury screwed other people out of work. Becky was getting destroyed at SS. Because of the injury, they put Charlotte in there. Then they had to force Becky back into the story. The entire women's division was hurt by the Ronda/Becky/Charlotte debacle. Every woman not the three took 2 steps back so to showcase the three. One who could care less about the WWE, and one who left the company to have a baby. Which again put the company in turmoil. So yes, the punch was a bad thing. Nothing to be proud of.

What exactly is it that you think a botch is? An accident, a bungling, something that is not meant to happen, is literally a botch.

Becky's star was on the rise, yes, but the visual and swagger of that moment absolutely added to her character. That's why years later GIFs and images of it are still all over the internet. It's probably the single most memorable moment of her entire run as the Man. If you don't like it or what it lead to, that's fine, but she was scheduled for Survivor Series and Charlotte for Mania, and they literally switched them around. She got out of a smaller match and into a bigger one. For her, Nia's disastrous fuckup lead to massive longer term positives. Your lament for the womens division is neither here nor there, the entire WWE is a piece of shit, for those few months they sort of struck gold, and this 100% absolute botch was a big part of that.

I got another one. When Jericho punched Michaels wife in the face. It took a fued that was already bubbling and made it absolutely red hot. One of my favourite feuds.

By the same token, when Floyd actually caught the Big Show flush breaking his nose and causing him to stumble when getting to his feet, it made that moment much more iconic.

Neither of those were botches... Rebecca agreed to be hit flush beforehand. And Big Show literally told Mayweather to break his nose so it would look more realistic!

Royal Rumble 2005 where Cena and Batista went over the top at the exact same time, it was a great thing to happen at the end, not only because it made it look more legit(pretty hard to fake that and look real) and then Vince blowing both quads on the way to the ring.

Out of left field: The Finn Balor shoulder injury.

Historically, Vince was against pushing smaller guys at that level because he thought they’d get hurt more easily. But HHH was gaining power with his smaller, Indy-style wrestlers in NXT and he got his way with Finn going over Roman clean on his way to becoming the first ever Universal Champion.

Title reign lasted 1 day, HHH gave it to Owens, and since then we’ve ultimately seen bigger guys on top again while the NXT guys have been buried.

If Finn worked out, we’d probably see Gargano, Cole, etc all main eventing on a regular basis on the main roster today.

Ali's injury isn't a botch it's an injury where somebody got the fill in and ended up getting an opportunity.

Titus Worldslide lead to one of the most Humorous moments in WWE history though.
I personally think Titus meant to do it. Nobody is that clumsy and it looked scripted AF. Basically any publicity is good publicity type thing.

When did Balor ever beat Roman clean? He pinned Seth Rollins for the Universal.

First off Nia didn't screwed up, Becky walked into her fist. Because she's careless. ;)

Ok. Let's play your game.

Rhonda Rousey injured not once but TWICE Alexa Bliss. Which put Alexa out of action for several months. Which allowed Charlotte and Becky to even be a thing. Which allowed Nia Jax to punch Becky in the face. Which allowed Becky Lynch to become the Man. Which allowed Becky to set back the entire women's division. Which made Alexa Bliss a Valet now.

So NO, it was an awful thing. Injuries lead to bad things.
