Has the WWE finally listened to the IWC?

Regarding the title situation and the midcard/tag team divisions. Here's what the WWE has been doing recently:

Defending titles regularly - No more sitting back being champion forever without defending it, titles are becoming a target for the wrestlers now, bringing them into the spotlight once again.

Making the US Title relevant again - Antonio Cesaro is being put across as a force to be reckoned with and the championship has finally made it off the pre-show and into a surprisingly entertaining match with Ryder at NOC.

Making Tag-Team wrestling entertaining again - Kane/Bryan, Prime Time Players, Kingston/Truth have all been working their asses off lately and it's certainly paid off. The latest tag championship match at NoC was highly entertaining with comedy from Kane/Bryan, and great tag team wrestling from Kingston/Truth. Lots of charisma and ability is being shown in that division right now.

Bringing the World Heavyweight and WWE championships back to the main event - The IWC was enraged about this. But after NoC with the WHC match just before the main event WWE title match things seem to be looking normal again. Hopefully this Punk/Cena storyline not only emphasises the importance of the WWE title but SOLIDIFIES it as the #1 prize and the spotlight of the WWE.

No. Night of Champions just made it look that way.
If WWE really was listening to the IWC, John Cena would be a heel, Daniel Bryan would be winning every single match and we'd be back to a more Attitude Era lite product. Oh, and there would be a huge clusterfuck of storylines also. :russo
I have to say no. WWE has gone mega-casual in its entertainment direction. If you're the type who actually has the gumption to get on a computer and discuss the company, performers, or show, then you are no longer their demographic. At least thats how it feels.

Nope...don't see any pigs flying.
I was waiting for this thread to pop up again. When things start to look cool, it goes back to crap. Like that plant in the Dennis The Menace movie.

I could make that happen, but the cops get pissed when you bring a catapult into town.
Well in some incrimants it appears they have. JBL came back last night and JR comes back tonight, and storylines are happening that aren't just for the WHC or WWE title. So it seems like they're getting there act somewhat together.

The only reason JR and JBL are back though is because of what unfortunately happened to Jerry Lawler. Lets face it, if Lawler didn't have his heart attack, we wouldn't have been getting JR or JBL at all for the meantime. I'm sure maybe both of them reached out to WWE after what happened to Jerry.

As for the storylines outside of the WWE/WHC title frames, I'm sure that's either them trying to fill the three hour gap on RAW or Triple H more or less seeing what each division needs right now.

All of this happened because Night of Champions was meant for all the titles to be defended on the same night.

It's going to go back to its usual shtick next week.

Pretty much.

And why is it that anytime WWE does something half sensible the IWC has to take credit for it and claim the WWE is "listening" to them. Like they actually come here to consider our opinions. It's laughable.
Id be happy if they make the WHC seem as important as the WWE title... only at EC ppv did the WHC main event a ppv for the first time in a longggggg time.
Yep, I gotta agree with those who say that it's the PPV "Night of Champions" which makes the champs important and gives them spotlight, it was a good PPV and I wish the WWE continued this route, but I'm afraid that ain't happenin.
Cena. That should answer your question right there.
Yeah, they have. That's why it's boring as hell right now. Good job, guys.
Killed myself and came back again. Sorry, hell hasn’t frozen over.
Sometimes they do listen to what the IWC wants, most of the time they don't.

When its something simple that the IWC wants, something that doesn't include any possible risks, they do it, like the pushes of CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler and of course the "potential" push of Zack Ryder at the beginning of the year.

But if its something big, something that is considered a risk or may cause a damage to the rating or "money", they won't listen to anyone, like the Cena Heel turn for example.
