Looked it up last night...while Race appears to have retired from active competition following a shoulder injury sustained in a match with Michael Wallstreet in December 1990, he did return to the ring as a substitute on three successive nights - in 1993! And who did he face? None other than Ric Flair. From http://www.thehistoryofwwe.com/wcw93.htm:

Hmm interesting, never knew about these matches. I've just always thought his last match was in October 1990 cause that's what Cagematch.net basically says when you look at his list of matches. I had never before bothered to look more into his final matches, but yeah Wiki mentions December 1990 & these 1993 matches you posted. Cool, I learned a bit more about Harley Race today.
