I mean Bubba Ray Dudley took a worse concussion than that where he fell headfirst off a ladder from a botched bulldog and he was alright because he took it easy, Bret though, was basically given a pat on the back and told he'd be alright, and that cost him his career.
Bret himself said that maybe just maybe if he took a break after the match with Goldberg he could've wrestled again, and in his book he mentioned him telling Russo he might've had a concussion but they still had him wrestle anyways, he actually wrestled additional live events to fill in for Nash and Jarrett who had concussions of all things, so...
Stop blaming Goldberg if you still are because he just gave Bret a simple concussion....
