Im going to my first show in about 12 years(5/24/1999). I never went to a SD taping before so what should i suspect?

Are any other shows(superstars,NXT) taped at the same show?


btw What kinda sign should i make?

They'll probably start with a dark match. Then they'll tape (probably) two SuperStars matches and NXT.
They don't seem to rush from segment to segment setup wise like they would on Raw, simply because it isn't live so they feel like they can take their time.
I went to Raw and Smackdown this week. A Smackdown taping will have a lot more wrestling, since Smackdown is the "wrestling show" in the first place and they're also taping NXT.
The Smackdown arena will likely be a lot less full than a Raw would be.

Cody Rhodes will hand out paper bags.
Triple H will hog 10-15 minutes of airtime.
Sheamus will tell an Irish joke and win his match.

I have been to a SmackDown taping just once (it was the 5/27/2011 episode in Spokane, Washington) and it was a blast. Here's how the SmackDown taping works:
Dark Match
NXT taping
Two or three Superstars matches (expect one of those matches to feature Brodus Clay facing another local competitor)
SmackDown taping
