Dragon Gate USA will announce today that they will debut on Friday 1/28 in New York City at B.B. Kings, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

The DGUSA will be the first time that venue, which is one block from Times Square, has ever housed professional wrestling. The concert venue has hosted boxing events in the past.

That show will be the first of three events held over that weekend, with a PPV taping at the promotion's Philadelphia return scheduled for Saturday 1/29 and a matinee event set for Union City, NJ at the ACE Arena on Sunday 1/30.

In other DGUSA news, the promotion will launch a Black Friday sale today at www.dgusa.tv.
I wonder what that venue is going to look like with a wrestling setup; Gabe does have a thing for converting the unlikeliest of places, though. If it's feasible for me, I might do the whole tripleshot. Even if I don't, there's no way I'm missing this with how close it is to me.

November 22nd: The major news is that Dragon Gate USA is finally heading into New York City!!! Not only that, but our show will be in Times Square!!! We are very excited to announce that DGUSA will kick off its 2011 schedule on January 28th at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill on 237 W. 42nd Street. This is a very cool venue and we expect tickets to sell fast. We will announce ticket info soon. We will sell tickets right here at DGUSA.tv, but they will also be available through Ticketmaster. We are working out the final details on that now. Keep checking back as we hope to have tickets on sale by the end of the week. DGUSA in Manhattan!!! It's finally happening!!!

November 22nd: This completes the huge triple shot to kick off 2011 with Jan. 28th in Manhattan, Jan. 29th back at The Asylum Arena (former ECW Arena) in South Philly and Jan. 30th at the very intimate ACE Arena in Union City, NJ. PAC is already signed for all three events. We will announce more names on Wednesday right here in DGUSA.tv News Alerts.

November 22nd: The tripleshot will also see the crowning of the first Open The United Gate Champions. We will announce the tournament format on Black Friday right here in DGUSA.tv News Alerts.

November 22nd: Tickets for Jan. 29th in Philadelphia and Jan. 30th in Union City, NJ go on sale this Wednesday morning in the DGUSA.tv Store or by calling 267-519-9744. Ticket prices for Philadelphia are $75 for 1st row, $50 for 2nd row, $35 for 3rd row and $20 for GA. Ticket prices for Union City are $50 for 1st row, $40 for 2nd row and $25 for GA. We are offering two special combo deals. You can get a 2nd row ticket for both events for just $75 or a GA ticket to both cards for only $40. We will have gifts and goodies for 1st & 2nd row ticket holders and other perks. More info coming this Wednesday when tickets go on sale.
And I'm glad Gabe is actually having a good Black Friday sale this year; I remember last year's was just really underwhelming. Maybe I'll pick up a couple shows.
