According to PWPix, Shawn Daivari (a.k.a. Sheik Abdul Bashir) has signed a contract with TNA and will appear at the next set of Impact tapings in Orlando, Florida.
Daivari parted ways with TNA in December 2009 after requesting his release. He was “fired” following the Feast or Fired match at Final Resolution 2009.

Hm, of all the people they could have brought back, he wouldn't have been high on my list. He never did much in the ring, and they did nothing with his character. One of his feuds was just awful to watch; he should have been the face, but relying on the inherent xenophobia of the audience, he was the heel.

Will add some character to the x-division so I don't mind it. The whole anti-american extremist gimmick is overplayed and old now. He needs to do something new.
