WWE.com has learned that former British Bulldog Tom "Dynamite Kid" Billington has suffered a stroke. By some reports, he's endured more than one in the past few weeks.

WWE.com will follow up with more information about Billington's health as it becomes available.

It's so sad that one of the GOAT has ended up living in such sorry state. Dynamite Kid was one of the most important figures in wrestling; his high energy style allowed him to compete in the land of giants, aka 80s WWF which in turn allowed for the likes of Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero and Chris Jericho amoung others to succeed there over a decade later. It's arguable that the independent scene, as it is today, couldn't exist without Tom Billington.
