I like boring technical wrestling where they work on each other's limbs for 20 minutes. I also enjoy well-worked cruiserweight matches that aren't just a bunch of pointless flips.

Dean Malenko, Bret Hart and Lance Storm are all dudes I could watch for hours.

I tend to like hybrid styles.

In American wrestling:

*Stiff, athletic strikes mixed in with submissions and suplexes (think 2003-2007 Samoa Joe.)

*High-flying mixed in with the odd submission or power move (think 2001 Chris Jericho.)

In Japan, Kenta Kobashi is probably my favorite ever, though I also liked Kensuke Sasaki's moveset and style, and more recently, Shinsuke Nakamura and Takashi Sugiura.

I prefer hard hitting brawls and power wrestling with a bunch of suplexes the most. That's why Reigns and Lesnar are my favorites to watch in the ring on the main roster. I also like high flyers and fast paced technical wrestlers like Daniel Bryan, Sami Zayn, Chad Gable, and Jason Jordan. I don't like the slow and boring technical wrestling with excessive rest holds. Apollo Crews is one of my favorites in NXT right now because he's a hard hitting, high flying, power wrestler. Feats of athleticism and strength are the most exciting to me. For Divas, I prefer them to be flexible, fast paced, strong and/or athletic, like Charlotte, Dana Brooke, Alexa Bliss, and Marley. Asuka is an amazingly entertaining submission specialist, so she's an exception to my rule. What I love most about Sasha's in ring style is her stiffness. She hits and slams like a man.

Either puroresu or British-style technical with fast paced holds and strikes. When done right, both are beautiful to behold.

I like a lot of stuff though, spotfests, hardcore, deathmatches, brawls but some of those can feel overdone but I will never get tired of a good puro or catch bout.

I liked it when everyone had different styles. Nowadays everyone just has the same generic WWE style. Even the guys in NXT are trained to wrestle exactly the same way so what's fun about that?

1, Powerhouse and Brawling tied -when done right these styles look less choreographed and more believeable than others imo.

2. High Fliers/ Luchadores- gymnastics are cool

3. Technicians- got to respect those that master technique and fundamentals

4. Hardcore- it's the least believeable BUT fuck it sometimes you want to see absurd unrealistic levels of violence

I don't hate any styles though I do hate promotions that seem to cater to one specific style. Variety is great.

anyway, smart arse comment from me aside, my preference is catch wrestling. mostly because its bloody dangerous and its really the only style left that could be described as prizefighting style, ie it could be taken as real.

not that I don't like other styles, I can watch pretty much any wrestling, but as for my preference...

I like stiff, technical matches like the one that populated All Japan in the 90's. I do appreciate spot fests too. The only style I hate is just lumbering , plodding giants who excel at kick/punch. clothesline. That will put me to sleep straightaway.

I like watching the aerobatic stuff but it has to be with somebody good enough to make it believable. The problem with the high flyers is that it takes a lot of cooperation and timing to make it work and if they get the timing wrong then it just looks retarded. When the other guy is sitting there waiting for you to pull off a flashy move it looks stupid.

I guess I like it all though as long as it flows right. When spots manage to look COMPLETELY set up then I sort of shake my head.

I think Titus o Neil is very underrated wrestler, even though he's not "technically". Goo I love watching him just start tossing people around

I can get into most types of wrestling, however i'm a sucker for technical prowess, hence my love for Cesaro and Lynch.
