Anyone had any expeiences with foriegn wrestling fans?

For me I was in Algeria and I bunch of young marks started talking about wrestling. Naming off Cena, Orton, HHH etc. So I just stood there naming people who I knew they would have no clue who they were. Kidd, Barretta etc. Was rather funny then they all just started wrestling and I joined so they ran away from me alot :lol

About 10 years ago I used to talk wrestling with some guys in Israel who ran a promotion there for a few years. They were every bit as into it as I was and knew their shit when it came to both the history and the then current events of wrestling. I even traded tapes with them. Was pretty cool. I've also chatted with some Canadian fans in the past. Also in the 1990s I had a friend that was from Okinawa, and he was going back there for a visit so I made sure to have him tape some New Japan for me while he was there, though he personally wasn't that big of a fan of wrestling.
