Wade Barrett keeps saying "I fired John Cena!" "I".

Since when does Wade Barrett have the authority to fire other WWE Superstars? How is it that the GM or Vince McMahon for that matter hasn't stepped in here and told Barrett that he can't just fire other wrestlers.

When Cena joined Nexus he was forced (by the GM) to follow Barrett's orders or be fired.

I still don't like the fact that Wade Barrett is taking the credit for firing Cena...technically is was the GM no?

Why must we nitpick?

The GM said Wade makes the rules for Cena. By saying that, the GM has pretty much handed his contract over.

While yes, technically the GM would have kayfabe done it, Wade is a heel and taking credit for Cena's firing would garner Wade more heat.
