True, you could probably take off #8 as well... I have nothing against Edge, but it's like they just give him the belt for no reason.
Examine Edge's title reigns
Edge is an 11-time champion.
Many people criticize that, calling it an inflated number.
But specifically, which title reigns were unnecessary?
Edge's title wins
1 - Money in the Bank cash in on John Cena @ New Years Revolution 2006
2 - Triple threat match against RVD and Cena on RAW 2006
3 - Money in the Bank cash in on Undertaker @ Smackdown 2007
4 - Triple threat title win against Batista and Undertaker @ Armageddon 2007
5 - TLC match against Undertaker @ One Night Stand 2008
6 - Triple threat title win against HHH and Kozlov @ Survivor Series 2008
7 - Singles match against Jeff Hardy @ Royal Rumble 2009
8 - Elimination Chamber 2009. Entered RAW chamber after losing the Smackdown chamber match.
9 - Last Man Standing match against John Cena @ Backlash 2009
10 - TLC match against Kane, Rey Mysterio, and Alberto Del Rio @ TLC 2010
11 - Single match against Dolph Ziggler on Smackdown 2011.
The title reigns I believe could have been omitted are:
# 6: This win was completely random because it was his first night back. He also dropped it one month later only to regain it the next. Completely pointless.
#7: It was Hardy's first title reign, so he should had held the title longer. Edge would - again - drop this title one month later.
#11: There was no reason for him to drop the belt to a guy who wasn't ready to main-event and then win it back 20 minutes later.
So he should be an 8 time champion.

6 through 9 are all terrible,I mean he dropped it one month after winning it only to regain it the next the month at the Royal Rumble, he then then once again dropped it,and ended up winning the WWE title in the same night. Only to then drop that at Wrestlemania and surprise surprise win it again at Backlash the month after,unsuprisingly he only managed to keep that one for little over a month.

Exactly. He won the title four times within the span of five months. That's completely ridiculous.

1- Was his first reign, and was the first MITB cash in, so it's all good.
2- Great reign throughout the summer, really made Raw shine.
3- Good reign but was cut short due to injury. It looked like this would have been a long one for him had he not gotten injured.
4- Great reign, and his longest reign. Had a great match with Mysterio at the Rumble, and then a decent match with him while Mysterio was injured. He then had an awesome match with Taker at Mania, and looked like a million bucks. Overall, this or his second was his best reign.
5- Won it from Taker at the very beginning of June 2008, only to lose it at the very end of June 2008 from an MITB cash in by CM Punk. It was kind of a pointless reign, but they did need to put the title on someone for Punk to take it and bring a title to Raw, so whatever. I'll let it pass.
6- Pointless title reign.
7- Pointless title reign
8&9- I'll group these together, because they should have been together. Individually they were both pointless, but combined it would've made for a great single reign by Edge.
10- Good reign, but cut short due to creative team stupidity. Not a pointless reign, but it really should have gone until Mania.
11- Shouldn't have ever happened. How this came to be was retardation at it's finest.
