they still won't hit 7.0 or whatever rating they used to get. point being comparing today's rating with what used to be in the past, or today's entertainment with what used to be in the past is silly. wrestling was HOT back then. it is far from it's peak today.

just throwing "blood", "hardcore matches" won't get the rating back. putting a show to bring rating back won't do it either. breaking 4th wall won't do...having Lesnar throw real punches at Cena won't do it either.

cheersing for what it is. for all we know, 10 years from now, some of you will look at today (particularly those who didn't watch wrestling 10-15 years ago) and call it the "good old says".

boxing was hot at one time, then wrestling was at it's peak at some point, now it's MMA.

Ratings are measured differently now dude. They don't consider the people watching on the internet or the people dvring it. Why do people care about ratings? You don't work for WWE and it doesn't affect you.

Back then, WWE didn't split the two shows. If you noticed during the second hour of Raw, the "RAW ZONE" copyright graphic comes up. That means one show is done and the second begins. They only started doing this in 2002 or so to my knowledge. You have to take this into account with the ratings.

well your biggest problem is that half that audience doesn't even pay attention anymore, so they would never know those guys were all wrestling. so having that line up helps no one. so no, that rating would never happen.
