I got this error when i tried to post over 13 pages in the E-Fed section:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home2/wef/public_html/forums/includes/functions_newpost.php on line 1054

Is there any way you could fix that? We have to post a lot of pages for the fed results and etc and it'd be a bitch to have to divide it up in to 7 or 8 smaller posts.

I don't understand the pages thing. What did you try to do? Post all the results in one big thread/post? Or did you post a bunch of threads within a short period of time? Explain what you did. Or wait for the real admin(sup lee) to straighten it out

Oh, and you posted this in the Answered Suggestions/Help section. First you're supposed to post it in just the Suggestions/Help forum. Then once it's answered, an admin will move it. <3

Well, i tried to post over 13 pages in one new thread but it took the server really long to post since there was so much writing and after the 30 seconds, it timed out. I'm presuming that it'd be one simple edit to the functions_newpost.php file, just changing the maximum execution time to around 90 seconds. But i've never encountered this problem before so i'm not really sure.

Could you do it again and view the source? With the server not sending e-mails out I can't see what the 'core' of the problem was.

I viewed the php file yet I don't see anything to do with execution time...nor is "30" listed on the page or in the admincp. Which is weird. I am going to up the character limit, however. That could be the problem if you're saying there was a lot of text.
