Re: Empress of Tomorrow - Asuka Discussion Thread

Want to be hopeful her run on the MR goes well but...I'm not counting on it.
I hope they take the Strowman route with her and build her up as a killer. We shall see though.

They made Jinder the first guy to pin Nakamura on the main roster, so it's entirely possible that Alicia Fox could end the streak

There's so much potential with Asuka on the main roster. Expecting the worst is the natural reaction but I want WWE to prove me wrong so badly.

Re: Empress of Tomorrow - Asuka Discussion Thread

I think it was Solomonster who said it like this: "How much influence does Triple H on Vince McMahon? We're about to find out."

Anyway, you all would be wise to follow the empress on Twitter or you're missing out. https://twitter.com/WWEAsuka
He's right. Asuka more than any previous call up will tell us just how much clout Triple H really has. Clearly he's very invested in her and the streak means she'll have to be handled more carefully than most.

And yes, her twitter can be pretty fun:D Lots of in character tweets.

Re: Empress of Tomorrow - Asuka Fan Thread

And now we wait to see how they'll introduce Asuka on the main roster. I'm hoping that her main roster run will go well.

Quite the send off. The call back to their previous segments with the fake out handshake was neat.

Asuka is set to debut soon with the WWE RAW brand, according to PWInsider.

The former WWE NXT Women's Champion is currently out of action with a right collarbone injury but as noted, she will be traveling to Japan for the WWE SmackDown live events next week for a non-wrestling role.

It looks like she will be debuting some time in October as a WWE Network Collection on The Empress of Tomorrow is scheduled to premiere during the first week of that month to help promote the debut.
I can see her attacking the winner of the likely Nia/Bliss match at TLC.
