Anything's better than the current McIntyre. If turning him face makes him more comfortable with his role, go for it, I wouldn't mind.

He's a bland charisma-less heel, and yet they want to turn him face? No thanks, how about we drop Drew altogether and instead push Masters to feud with Dolph. Sounds like a better plan to me.

I'm still sticking with the fact that they should bring Piper back to help push this man further in his bright future ahead of him. Perhaps Piper brings his Piper's Pit back for Smackdown with his guest being Drew McIntyre. That's when Drew makes his "debut". Then we see a side of him we have never seen, or heard before.

Sounds like a plan indeed. Take a guy who's just decent in the ring but has no charisma or presence and only has a job because of his look, and because he's not working out, replace him with a guy who's just decent in the ring but has no charisma or presence and only has a job because of his look.

Masters has charisma. It may not be much but it's certainly more than McIntyre's. He's also decent on the mic (at least from what little I've seen) and I think he needs another chance, at least towards the IC title. I'd rather see him get a small push then Drew at any rate.

Hmmm. The original idea could actually work in getting McIntyre over as a face...initially. That's primarily because it involves him pushing Vickie over, which would almost certainly appeal, then the fact he would be paired with Kelly. My only concern with Drew is whether or not he has....ANYTHING to maintain fan interest. He doesn't have charisma (Cena/Rock/Austin/Hogan), he doesn't have a flashy move set or a highflying spot monkey which kids love (Kofi/Mysterio/Jeff Hardy/RVD/HBK/Morrison), he doesn't have a specialist gimmick which seperates him in a face way (Undertaker/Big Show/Khali/Mark Henry), he isn't an established veteran (HHH/Flair), he isn't comedic (Santino/Edge/Christian/face Jericho.) He has none of those things. He would have nothing going for him apart from the fact that he is a good guy. The last guy who had none of these things going for him was Randy Orton, and he is only over as a face now because he is established...and he was in the company for a hell of a longer time than McIntyre had been.
Drew's face run could easily go the same way as Orton's first - bombing. There isn't even a title involved to act as a catalyst for the fans caring.

drews awesome, swaggers awesome, ted is awesome in the ring and will be awesome all around given time. these internet idiots dont know fuck all. nowadays guys are thrown in the fold and expected to be the shit right away. rocky mavia, stunning steve austin, and hunter hearst helmsley were probably nobody's for a few years.... give these guys time.

I'm looking forward to a face run from Drew and even better that he has Kelly Kelly by his side. Drew has really grown on me as of late. Drew vs Dolph - Book it.

Maybe instead of Piper having his last Piper's Pit on Smackdown it would be on RAW instead. Also instead of Drew being his final guest it could be Sheamus. Hot Rod says that there is a man in the WWE that he is just in "Awe" of. That man turns out to be Sheamus. Perhaps Piper is just going ape shit over how amazing he thinks Sheamus is.
Convince the audience that Piper is completely heads over heels for King Sheamus. Once Sheamus comes down, Piper barely gives him time to speak. Finally, King Sheamus just has enough of Rowdy's ass kissing, and he just nails Piper with a vicious lariat. He commences a serious beating to Piper, and no one seems to be able to stop him. King Sheamus throws refs out of the ring, even the GM interrupts, but to no avail.
Then from the back out comes Drew McIntyre, and he runs out to Pipers aid, and goes at it with Sheamus. More stars pour out to break them up. Drew showing concern. Drew helps Piper up, and the crowd pops. He raises Piper's hand out of respect, and keeps his focus on Sheamus who slowly takes his time to the back staring each other down like dogs. Drew on Smackdown can then prove to Kelly-Kelly that he is what he says he is. Another check mark for Drew, and one step closer to some Kelly-Kelly "pie".
