Now that we have a show with "Rookies" doesn't anyone else see a reason for the RAW/Smackdown to just draft rookies from that show NXT? I think it would be awesome, and stars from the current shows wouldn't be drafted just become free agents once their contracts are up on their show.

The WWE should start stressing the idea of long term deals for respective shows top tier talent, and non-rookie talent. Sort of how MVP did when he first came in. The NFL, and NBA make a huge deal of large contracts, and I don't see why in kayfabe the WWE doesn't head that direction as well.

That would be kinda cool. Get a permanent GM for RAW and have Teddy Long and the GM fighting for superstars and trading superstars (like Stephanie McMahon & Eric Bischoff did in 2002.

Exactly, just like a real draft. Have rookies being prospected up from managements on opposing brands. It can build story lines with the rookies and the brands alike. I hope they consider doing this in the future.
