TNA President Dixie Carter revealed that Douglas Williams has been brought in as a trainer for OVW. She added that she couldnt wait for our the developmental talent to benefit from his tremendous knowledge. Al Snow also mentioned that Williams was involved with OVW when he was on TNA Today.

I'm very pleased that TNA found something good for him. Hopefully Tara is next once her TV time ends.

Great for the development in OVW, Williams is a great old school type wrestler thats isnt ancient so he should be able to get to the talent faily easy. Will miss seeing the Chaos Theory

Having another shitty tv title reign on xplosion (a title nobody cares) for another year and then get released or working as a agent, making new stars and being on the business long term?

In my eyes this is a promotion, sorry to disappoint all of you but doug williams ain't getting younger and he's no bully ray.
This is the next step of his career and might be a crucial move to secure the TNA/OVW partnership.

Nice. That's kind of the position where guys like him, Dean Malenko, and Lance Storm belong. They don't have the charisma nor mic skills to really succeed in the business, but their in ring skills deserve to be passed on and could be beneficial to someone who does have those qualities.

i think it gos with out saying he will be down in ovw a good 5 out 7 days a week . so his pay will go up.
