He's an all around good worker. He works pretty smooth, doesn't botch and can work with just about anyone. Similar to Curtis Axel but not quite as good.
Unfortunately, like Axel he does nothing that really stands out. He doesn't fly, isn't a submission master and isn't a power wrestler.
He is basically dependent on a gimmick to get himself over.

I don't know what happened but he's a dangerously unusual drop going from NXT to Main Roster, not just talking relevance, but it's almost like his workrate has been decreasing lately to a point where everything he does in ring looks kind of blah.

I don't know what happened to the 4-star matches he put on in NXT.

I was giving bad booking and time constraints the benefit of the doubt, then I see Neville vs. Bo Dallas on a grand stage of a PPV and Bo Dallas does absolutely nothing with the time he's given (yet Neville still does) and yet their NXT match was a lot more top notch.

He also looks a bit out of shape too.

I think adding an ankle lock or cloverleaf hold to his moveset can't be that difficult and will add that finishing touch to his in-ring abilities.

I just hope they don't make him look so bad that he can never be taken seriously.

Maybe he is made to look average because of his gimmick. Because a good wrestler can't change into an ordinary one overnight.

His "goofy gimmick" is the best thing about him. He's decent in the ring, that's it. Completely passable and carryable and with good worker like Neville can have a really great match. He should be booked like in NXT with a lot of hilarious skits and in-ring segments, Bo can work the mic and generate heat.

Bo can be so much more. Hes a casualty of the tv setup. Most of the guys on raw repeat their shit on smackdown. If wwe were run by competent people, theyd rotate guys so we only see them once a week. Not a brand split per say, but roman does his deal on raw one week no sd, next week no raw but sd. Bo could do little things each week and itd be great.

Hes a prime candidate to be released, unless family ties save him.

Looks like a natural on the mic and can do something more to make his goofy gimmick more interesting. I think he has great potential.

Dallas is just fine in the ring. One of the better workers in the company. It's why he will always have a job in the WWE. Kid is a natural in the ring. The character on the other hand is awful.

He's okay in the ring. I love the character though. It's rare that I laugh out loud while watching wrestling, yet Bo always gets a laugh out of me. That "Mr. NXT" thing he did after losing the title to Neville had me in stitches. His segments are always enjoyable. I wish we got more of him. If they have nothing for him in the singles department, I see potential in a tag team with Slater, though it'd probably be a little too similar to New Day.

I really like that idea. Even if they don't do that with their midcard and up, it would benefit the ME/Superstars guys so much. It would break up the monotony of seeing the same guys do the same thing twice a week, then again on a PPV unless they're in a gimmick match.

Bo's ring skills are fine for me. His best quality is his mic work, which is what made me a fan of his.

Depends on what you're watching for-- his psychology and in ring character work are stellar. His offense is aggressive and hard hitting but not technical or flashy. You'd be hard pressed to find many modern wrestling fans that can enjoy a wrestler who doesn't rely on spots but he's more than solid at what he does.

He's solid enough i think. I've grown to like his gimmick though.
