At least Roman Reigns is usually chilling in a chair or on a couch like a boss.
That was what I was thinking when i made this thread. Only Roman is the one I’ve seen who watches it properly.

I can pretty much picture catering like this. A bunch of jabronis standing around 2 feet from the TV with trays full of food on a table behind them. The AEW catering area probably has like 12 televisions at this point.

Jokes on you. That's Finn Balor who has been lifting more weights and gained 4 inches in height.
No, no one watches TV like this. But it gets the point across to the viewer while staying within the time-tested television production tropes/formulas. You don’t want a guy with his back to the camera, not showing his face/expression. So you see the guy watching the match and glean from it that he’s concerned or angry or upset or whatever.

That's the only way I watch tv....Yes, think of bars, think of places where the TV isn't in your living room
Usually it's a quick look at the TV, like a match

You ever notice how people on sitcoms etc people never watch their television, you know since that's what 90% of people do when they're sitting on the couch in their house...
The logic? So u can see Austin and the guys on screen at the same time... You would prefer it was realistic and he was sitting on a steel chair looking at the tv sitting on a folding table??

The same wrestling company where the GM stands around in his "office" all the time and the only thing that is shown is a TV screen in the background with the shows name on it and maybe pictures. It's weird laziness. At this point they have shown Roman sitting down more than Adam Pierce. I guess that's one of the reasons why Roman is the Tribal Chief. He actually gets seats to sit down on but the GM doesn't.
Although Austin Theory's position toward the screen isn't as bad as other times. I have seen wrestlers basically have their side facing the screen while pretending to watch it because they are trying to face the camera and the TV at the same time.
