Back in 03 was it? He had a really good thing going on with Piper being his manager and all and his "devils advocate" character I thought it was great, somehing really new. Different kind of moveset as well.

He had a lot left to do.

I remember he had a push on velocity back in 2003. Didn't he have a feud with Rikishi?

He used to wear the trunks with the spider on them, and generally looked a bit creepy.

I remember the vignettes he had as well with the white background, but I never really got them. They never made much sense.

Some people think he has the greatest gimmick ever on here for some reason. I think it's a thing where the longer it's gone you build the legend up. He's a haire dresser now (hehe)

I see what you did there.

I don't know man, I just remembered the guy and looked for YouTube vids, if he were to be wrestling with that gimmick in the WWE's current state, he'd be the shit, probably main eventing.

I remember him when the whole invasion angle happened, he was running around with Palumbo. I remember seeing him doing that 'Swanton Bomb' and thinking 'Oh shit, Jeff who?'. I was really looking forward to seeing more of him, but it wasn't meant to be. I really liked his look.

He could have been a top draw ... they fucked it up though

He seemed destined for success when he was repackaged in 2003 with a fantastic gimmick. The guy had a lot going for him; a great look, lots of charisma, very good mic skills, good in the ring, a great entrance theme, and a hall of fame manager in Roddy Piper.

But for some reason after the whole Mr. America storyline he was pushed down onto Velocity where he wrestled lower card talents. Eventually he got in an accident and by the time he came back, he was released.

It's a shame because I think he could have truly been something special in the WWE.

O'Haire was one of the top guys everyone was talking about from the Invasion as a future top star. He was a great athlete with the right look and IIRC, was a great promo. Like Test who was supposed to be big and was for a time until they dropped him for no reason, they didn't invest in him.

He's had a long list of legal problems. WWE probably knew he would be too much of a hassle.
