Neither of my parents do although my dad has taken me to a few shows.

My mum hates it, because it's fake, of course. But she's addicted to reality TV shows.

My dad wasn't a fan, but I remember watching Angle vs. Benoit from Unforgiven 2002 and he got really drawn into that one for the athleticism. He also took me to my first WWE show and even though he wasn't that keen on it, he got into the atmosphere once he was there and bought himself a Batista shirt.

My dad, who is no longer with us, absolutely HATED it. I went to SummerSlam 1997 with him, even though he hated it. My parents were divorced, and I lived with my mom, so him taking me to SS was part of my visitation I had with him on the weekends. He didn't want to go, but he knew I loved it, so he went. My mom volunteered to go with me instead because of how much my dad hated it, but he of course said no to that because I was living with my mom and he wanted to spend time with me.

So, at SS '97, the second to last match (Austin/Owen) ends, and we're finally at the main event (Bret/Taker, HBK special ref). But my dad had had enough to the point where, even though I was only 14 years old at the time, he told me was going back to the car to wait for me since there was only one more match left. Now, we were parked in the row in the parking closest to the arena entrance, so it's not like I had to go walking around the big ass parking lot looking for my dad's car, but still. Yeah, that's how much he hated wrestling, that he left his 14 year old son who he didn't live with at the time in the arena for the main event. :lol Yeah, I loved my dad and all, but he was definitely an ass at times. That was my dad, though. A stubborn ass at times. It's a good thing I don't have any of that in me... ;)

My mom doesn't watch it on her own or anything, but growing up, when I had it on in the living room and she'd be in the kitchen or whatever, sometimes things would catch her eye and she'd comment on something that was good like during the Austin years. She liked Austin, but wasn't a wrestling fan or anything. Definitely alot more open-minded to it than my dad ever was. That's for sure. :lol

Parents divorced before I was 2. I went to my dad's on the weekend and was barely supervised and I watched WWF at 8 (Superstars or Wrestling) and WCW at 9 (not WCW Saturday Night) and sometimes there was a 3rd hour of something different. I was 9 (late 1989) then. Once I told my mom and (to be) Stepdad they literally started taking me to House Shows and got all the PPV's. So of course my dad took me to a couple as well. Once I turned 13 I quit going to my dads because he was kind of a drunk/stoner who showed little effort in having a relationship with me or my step brother. I spent the next 3+ years watching with my stepdad and many times my mom. Once the AE started they kind of quit watching with me because they had 2 young kids.

Now my 24 year old brother watches with my stepdad they both like AEW and NXT and skim over Raw and SD. My Mom hasn't watched WWE in years but she loves NJPW and watches it with my brother all the time.

My Mum loves it, my Dad doesn't care for it.

My Mum is the one I go to all my wrestling shows with and the one I watch all the weekly shows and PPVs with. We've been to six Manias, two Summerslams, Super Showdown in Melbourne and a multitude of Raws, Smackdowns, NXT Takeovers and live events together in the past decade or so, plus indy events in Auckland too.

She's also the one who introduced me to wrestling when I was a kid, she watched it before I was even born and she used to date a local NZ wrestler before she met my Dad. So wrestling's just always been around our family cos my Uncle watches it as well and my Grandma did too before she passed away.

My Dad doesn't get it, but he puts up with my love for it. He's driven me and my Mum to wrestling shows before and he let us use his credit card to pay for Mania travel packages before my Mum got her credit card. He also likes all of my statuses on Facebook about wrestling even though he admits he has no idea WTF I'm talking about LOL. He also thought my love for Mox would be a phase and I'd move onto another wrestler before long :lmao He said that to me in like 2013, so joke's on him hahaha.

Literally the last wwe ppv we watched together. I missed the last one he texted me about because I needed to watch the Mets game. Fuck WWE. It made me sad to ditch my dad like that but no, I was not about to miss my Mets for one of the shittiest wrestling promotions on earth.
I love you daddy!! Im so sorry [emoji173]

See how cute he is... haha.

None of my parents have ever watched. Nor my siblings or friends. Its weird. I'd bet only a hundread people or so at best watch pro wrestling regularly in sweden and Im one of them lol. It just randomly came on tv one day when I was 8 and I have been hooked ever since. Though it was only on tv in sweden for a 3 year period (02-05) I got hooked enough that I started pursuiting it online.

My mom and dad liked the Hogan era and even though they knew about the Attitude era weren't fans of it because of the cussing, violence, and sex, my mom especially didn't like the Attitude Era. They did like The Rock though. I still remember my mom having a long conversation on the phone with my dad about The Kat showing her titties after defending the women's championship since he would record the PPVs for me on with his hot cable box.

My Father used to watch WCW back in the day with my brother and I in the late 90s. He mostly watched because we were in to it. I have told him about AEW and he said that he would maybe try watching it eventually if I thought that it was good.

My Grandfather was watching WWE for years until he passed away a few years ago. He kept saying that it was real, but I feel like part of that was from his mind slipping because of Cancer.

No. They did not grow up as fans. They did watch a little bit during the Hogan Era with my brother and I just because it was the thing we were into, but they were never fans, and never understood my obsession with "that fake crap" from like age 12 on.

They like the actual wrestling and athleticism that goes on in the ring; things that require actual ability, strength, or technique they do. But, they hate the cheesy storylines and fakeness behind them.

Right now, I would be absolutely embarrassed to show anyone that isn't a hardcore wrestling fan the Rusev storyline.

My mom liked it until she could see it was fake.

This was during a Saturday Nights Main Event when Hogan had a guy trapped in the corner. He stood on the bottom rope and then started to wail on the guy with the fakest softest open handed punches which were all clearly hitting his own hand, which was neatly placed on his opponents head.

The Hulkster ruined wrestling for her.

My mom doesn't care either way, and my dad used to like it. He doesn't watch anymore but I usually go over to my parents house for dinners on Sunday and If I tell him there's a PPV, he will ask me "who's wrestling tonight?" I usually just say Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker, because if I named any of the other current geeks he wouldn't know who I was talking about.

My dad loved it a lot before considering he brought home so many VHS and Betamax tapes up until Wrestlemania XV but even though he doesn't watch a lot these days he is aware of guys like Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns as those guys are his current favorites. I remember seeing him teary-eyed as he watched the documentary of the Ultimate Warrior (not the Self-Destruction one) as well as HBO's documentary of Andre the Giant.

My mom hates it a lot but she did watch it with me once in a while, funny thing is Hulk Hogan is the only wrestler she knows so every time he showed up she'd ask me if he wrestled.

Special mention to my paternal grandparents who were Randy Savage and Jake the Snake fans back in the day.
