Since Wrestlemania 30, Brock Lesnar has practically lost 2 matches as a direct result of him being or passing out (Goldberg and Undertaker nutshot hell's gate), he is booked like a monster which I think he should be without giving his opponent much of a chance in a match (unless his name is Roman Reigns or John Cena). It's been 3 years, and suppose this kind of booking continues until Wrestlemania 34 so that Reigns can slay the beast, then do you think the WWE has kept pushing Brock Lesnar as this monster because he is a draw, or just so that they do their Roman Reigns experiment all over again? Would like to know most of your opinions on this.

Brock was always going to give the indirect streak rub to the next FOTC.

He's only squashing everyone to make the guy who beats him look like a star.

Combination of both. Brock's a legit name in the business and him holding the Universal title certainly adds legitimacy to it in it's still nascent phase. Also, if he's indeed leaving next year then definitely he would go out by doing the job to the FOTC, which is Reigns at this point. If Balor can have a meteoric rise to Reigns' status in a year then Balor-Lesnar can also be a possibility. In either event, it's pretty much Lesnar losing in convincing fashion at WM next year unless he re-signs.

Of course.

But that's how wrestling works.

They have always built up unstoppable guys to put over the next big guy. They either do it on a small level, like they do with the likes of Rusev, Khali, Kozlov etc. or they do it on a bigger level like they do with Kane or as this thread states, Lesnar.

I have ZERO doubt in my mind that when they had Lesnar go over Taker at WM30 that the whole point was for Lesnar to put over the next big guy at the following Wrestlemania before his contract ended. Obviously circumstances changed, they decided to continue booking Lesnar like an absolute monster, had him DESTROY Cena at Summerslam etc. and then he signed his new deal. They figured they could probably have Lesnar look EVEN stronger, beat Taker AGAIN etc. obviously he got his loss on the way as a way of showing that he CAN be beaten but then he's got that win back anyway. Within that time, they've clearly established Reigns as the next top guy and everything Lesnar has done since they established that, has been a way of making him look so strong that the next guy who beats him is going to ultimately cement themselves.

Reigns beating Lesnar means he would have beaten the guy who ended The Undertaker's streak, destroyed John Cena, ended Goldberg's career etc. - it would also likely be Lesnar's last WWE match as I believe his contract ends next year so they would basically have Reigns be the guy who ended Taker's career, end Lesnar's career by beating the guy who ended Goldberg's career. I mean is there really anything else Reigns could do?

Of course, ultimately destroy John Cena at Wrestlemania in a real "passing of the torch"

Then what they'll do is just book Reigns as they have booked Cena, until the next guy comes along.

The first option. I hope Brock doesn't stick to the plan and slaps the shit out of Reigns again though.

I mean to say that, this Brock Lesnar superman suplex and F-5 booking that has been going on, instead of proper back and forth matches that look more competitive, are they because WWE want you to think that he is superior to everyone else just so that when his match with Roman Reigns happens and it is competitive and Roman wins decisively (lol) to make him look like their center piece and their top guy. Is it because of that or is it because of Brock's own capability or merit and not just for passing the torch to Roman Reigns.

A brain dead donkey can see Brock is being build back up to put Roman over and pass the torch to Roman so he can be the unstoppable monster. Than there will be another talent the will beat Roman and get put over.

Vince is doing the plan he wanted to do at WM31 for WM34.

The wheel keeps on spinning.
