Well I literaly own thousands of Blu Rays. I can't imagine relying on Netflix or downloads, I like having my own private collectiion from which I can pick movies/shows whenever I need to

The exception is music, I don't mind downloading from iTunes to have it on my iPhone, it's really convenient

Thats such a cool collection. Saw Prison Break sitting there and it gave me the desire to rewatch it. Another great thing about collections is when guests or family come over they have something to browse and sift through.

I was a 100% physical then 100% streaming and now I am 50/50. Dvd and Blu Ray prices have trended down and when I see sales I pick them up. For example I was able to pick up the king of queens Box set for $35 on Amazon. That is 212 episodes.

I did read that the Netflix dvd rental has a great selection of movies. It could be a great place to find some variety in addition to streaming.

The only DVD's/Blu Ray's i buy are WWE PPV DVD's as i have a huge collection, i have every event from 2001 onwards. They are all sitting in boxes as i've yet to buy a huge media shelving unit to display them.

In terms of music, i stopped buying physical CD's around 10 years ago. I only really buy Mariah Carey's albums physical just to have for the album collection. Once i get my media storage unit i'm gonna buy the physical CD's of some of my favourite artists to display them.

As for games, i have downloaded a few PS4 games but i rather buy them physical as i just complete a game and trade it back in. I very rarely buy a game new either these days.

Physical games + DVDs/blu-rays for film, tv shows, some documentaries, and all official releases (I do also own a lot of digital games and will sub to streaming services though). I don't buy "official" wrestling releases any more but I have bought custom compilations + burned my own on and off for almost ten years now, mainly because I wanna keep the footage but not clog up any HD space with it. If I was super into books I'd buy those in paper, I do have a few but it's not something that I'm any level of passionate about (yet?). If I was super into music I'd probably get some albums I really like in CD format for the car but mostly stick to digital.
