Info some of you may find useful:

Disney Plus will launch on Nov. 12 in the US, Canada and the Netherlands. It will launch a week later, on Nov. 19, in Australia and New Zealand.

Globally, Disney plans a progressive rollout worldwide over two years. The company provided a generalized timeline for when it will expand the service to the world's major regions.

Disney Plus is slated to roll out in:

- Western Europe over the course of six months between October this year and March of next year
- Eastern Europe over the course of a year starting as early as October 2020
- Latin America over the course of three months starting as early as October 2020
- Asia Pacific over the course of two years starting as early as October this year
Disney Plus is going to eschew pricing tiers, giving all subscribers access to four simultaneous streams and 4K and HDR high-quality video. It will also allow you to create seven profiles so personalization can suit different members of the household. And even though Disney Plus is the company's answer to Netflix, it won't be releasing episodes of its original series all at once like its giant rival does -- new episodes will come out weekly.
Disney's other streaming services -- Hulu and sports-focused ESPN Plus -- will run on the same tech platform, so you can subscribe to them with the same password and credit card info. Disney plans for all three to be individual subscriptions, but when Disney Plus launches in the US, it will offer a triple-service bundle for $13 a month.

FX Plus, however, didn't fit into the equation -- the service shut down Aug. 21. FX Plus was $6-a-month add-on subscription for Comcast and Cox cable subscribers that removes ads from current and past seasons of FX programming like Atlanta, American Horror Story and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It became part of Disney when the company bought Fox for $71.3 billion earlier this year. But with Hulu as Disney's designated spot for for adult-oriented programming, FX Plus is a casualty of the merger.

Disney Plus discount: Buy two years and get the third year free
The offer ends on Labor Day.

Disney Plus is set to launch in the US on Nov. 12 and will be one of the more affordable streaming services at $7 a month or $70 a year. But: If you are ready to commit to a three-year subscription, you can get Disney Plus at a discount that amounts to paying just $3.92 a month. This preorder deal ends this weekend; here are the details.

Disney Plus discount
Disney recently opened up discounted Disney Plus preorder deal that'll save subscribers $70 if you sign up for three years along with a D23 fan club membership (if you aren't already in the fan club). Don't worry, there's a free D23 membership, and it qualifies you for the Disney Plus discount.

At $70 annually, a three-year Disney Plus subscription costs $210. With this discount offer, the cost drops to about $140 for three years -- that's about $47 per year.

The offer is available to D23 Gold, Gold Family and General members in the US. The General membership is free. After you sign up for an account, Disney will email you with the Disney Plus discount offer. Or you can check your account page for a Redeem Now link or button to sign up for the discount subscription.

The discounted Disney Plus offer is good through Monday, Sept. 2, but if you aren't already in the D23 fan club, you'll need to sign up for a membership by Sunday, Sept. 1 in order to take advantage of the Disney Plus deal.

Three-year discount is Disney Plus only
Keep in mind that this offer does not include Disney's two other streaming services, ESPN Plus and Hulu. A discount bundle will be available for all three services that will save you $5 a month on what you'd pay for all three services separately. The bundle will cost $13 a month and include Disney Plus, ESPN Plus and the ad-supported version of Hulu. (Sign-ups for the bundle aren't yet available.)

Hard to say no if it's 7 bucks, though I'm sure that price will rise rather quickly.

Netflix could be in trouble. Though I have no intention to cancel any time soon.

Tomorrow is launch day. Who's getting it?

I got "Disney Plus on Us" free for one year with my Verizon unlimited data plan. I'm excited to check out the service.

Yes. They will have Fox content like The Simpsons, X-Men and Spider-Man animated series, and the Home Alone movies available tomorrow.
Nice, I'm almost done with Family Guy on Netflix and South Park on Prime Video. I wouldn't mind having all seasons of The Simpsons to watch during breaks at work or meals.

edit : Which series is it for Spider-Man ? The 90's one ? And were you talking about a series or the movies for X-Men ?
