Do you think the UK tour made a profit? I mean by the time they hire the venues, pay for hotel accomodation for the wrestlers, travel expenses etc
Im pretty sure they would have tbh, venue hire wont be to bad when ur filling up the arenas like TNA did and the total attendance for the tour looks to be around 20,000 at least which is pretty good, with average tickets probably being around £25, about $40 (for the cheapest seats, i heard ringside was about £80) revenue from the door of around half a million pounds and that's before taking into consideration programs (which always sell well and are cheap as anything to produce), t-shirts and dvd sales and meet and great sales. Overall I think this would have been a pretty profitable tour, maybe about £100,000 profit possibly, after all if tna can afford to run shows of around 500 people in the us then they can afford to run a 7 night tour with 20,000 paying viewers.Do you think the UK tour made a profit? They should re-locate to England.Around 9-10k for a TNA show? TNA should seriously consider doing an Impact Taping or even a BFG in the UK. If they did that people would get an illusion that TNA is competing with WWE which would make TNA look good, I mean the difference between 13k for your average WWE Show and this is really not that big, it would translate great on TV probably.
fpalmThey should re-locate to England.
Sounds funny but its almost true. I mean EVERY TIME they go to the UK, they draw like hell over there. I just don't understand why they can't do that here? It doesn't make sense. I mean they draw like 200 at some gym in Fuckville wherever, but then they go to New York or UK and they draw close to 10k. Maybe that's a hint TNA, only go to the BIG markets that are guaranteed to have paying customers.fpalm
Get the fuck out of here.
They draw big in the UK because the tour is only once a year. Even WWE only comes once or twice a year. We are starved for decent live wrestling here so the WWE or TNA shows are always going to draw big. You can't say TNA would draw this big regularly here from the numbers of a yearly tour.Sounds funny but its almost true. I mean EVERY TIME they go to the UK, they draw like hell over there. Looks awesome.
Guess you never knew how to count in school and failed Maths real HARD! They had 8,000+ before so anything higher than that is a new record. That could work both ways, a crowd of less than 100 would also be a record (at least, I hope it would be a record)
Wow, it actually looks like major league.
At first glance I thought this was Royal Rumble because of the large crowds and nice lighting. The stage gave away the fact it is TNA, but this shot looks great.
Because it costs a shitload of money to get a whole production crew overseas. TNA will probably do it but It's something you have to put in place in advance.Really don't get why there hasn't been a PPV here. Looks nice and professional.
