Sure he won the title, but all that everyone is talking about/will remember from XXX is that Taker lost.

I don't really have a strong opinion regarding DB, but I kind of feel like Undertaker losing made DB an after thought.

If the WWE really wanted to make DB the new face of the company, they should've made his moment the focal point of XXX

He Did. You see the insane pop he got even though the streak ended? That just shows you how big Bryan really is.

Does Bryan winning the title justify the Streak's end?

This came to me last night, as I honestly sat there in stunned silence with admittedly wet eyes. Does WWE believe it's justified in ending the Streak by giving the " masses" what "they want" in DB getting the title?

Opinions??

He beat HHH strong and clean, got injured afterwards - then went up against two of the biggest stars of the modern era when they were fresh (with one of them appearing in an upcoming marvel movie) and beat both of them, despite them teaming up - despite the authority trying to keep him down, getting out of a stretcher to make batista tap out.

That is the most anyone has ever got in a Wrestlemania ever

Cena has never got that much shine, nor Hogan, Austin, Hart, HHH, Rock, Benoit, Jericho nobody

Well, Bryan winning was a big moment. But Taker is bigger than Bryan anyway, so Taker losing of course towered over everything else. Sad, but that was the consequence of ending The Streak.

Yes, I believe Bryan got his Mania moment.
Has the end of the Streak taken away some of the attention at the moment? Sure.

But this man was able to awaken a dead and emotionally defeated crowd!
These fans just witnessed the end of an era and something that was such a huge part of WrestleMania.
The energy, soul and hope was basically sucked out of the room once Taker was defeated.

But they cared enough about Bryan and his win to go ape shit anyways.
To me, it makes the moment even more special. Because despite what happened two matches before, the crowd still gave him so much love and woke right up for him.
It only shows just how much the fans love this guy and really wanted to see him succeed.
Not even the ending of the Streak could take that away from them.
Shit, seeing Daniel Bryan win after watching another hero fall probably made the win even more special for the fans :)

Daniel Bryan got his WrestleMania moment and deservedly so.

When he won, I almost forgot about the streak.

When I'm chanting Yes! Yes! Yes! in my home and I'm thanking and praising YHWH(God: The Father and The Son and The Holy Spirit) for such a great celebration, the you know it was a wrestlemania moment.

He was the focal point. Was he not the one who closed the biggest Wrestlemania to date? Sure, Taker losing is also a monumental moment of the whole night, but that doesn't dilute Bryan's moment at all or take away anything from it. Hell, even the crowd, saddened and dejected as they were at seeing the Streak being broken, regained their enthusiasm and energy for the show once the main event kicked into high gear.

So yeah, Undertaker's loss is a very important piece of WM history and will be talked about for years to come; but at the same time, so is Bryan's victory.

Yes he did. Sure, right now people are understandably talking about taker, but in the medium to longer term, this will be remembered at the night when DB really made it. At the very best, we're unlikely to see taker again (possibly after tonight) until next year, if at all. DB is going to be on your TV every single week. The taker hysteria will fade, and DB will still be a top, top level guy.

They are completely un-related events.... I say whatever they do with Taker and brock(and possibly sting) is how they will try to justify it. but ultimately it was takers choice.

In terms of saving the show...The crowd got into the last match and celebrated big for bryan instead of being dead so it must have in that respect.
