I did, but all I got on the other end was Brodus Clay's mother.
Somebody did call his momma.
It was me.
And it cost $2.99 a minute.

That is freaking AWESOME! They for real said that?Just something that popped into my head. I remember calling them a few times as a kid and was generally disappointed in the things that I was told. The only information I can recall that was factual was the Vader/Paul Orndorff fight.
And the most obsurd piece of information that I got was that Chris Jericho was going to debut in WWE as the newest member of DX, with the name of "X-Calibur" and was going to be X-Pac's tag team partner.
I also remember hearing the local hotline we had in WV referencing the ratings from the previous Monday and I had no clue what they were talking about.
So, did anybody ever call the hotlines and did you find it useful or was most of the information irrelevant and total bullshit?
Hell yeah. That is freaking AWESOME! They for real said that?
I never personally called but two of my friends did. They said about the equivalent of the bs they told you. I never really believed what my friends told me, I guess maybe they weren't making up what they were told. I'm digging deep in the catacombs now but I believe they once were told who Undertaker and Kane's father was and it wasn't Paul Bearer, I think they told them Lawler but I could be wrong. Their was also some scandalous thing with Sable or Debra, hell I don't remember.
If I see those buddies anytime soon I will ask though.
:jay2Nope, but I did call the dating girls hotline when I was 11-12 years old, little did I know one call is $150, the shittier part is I didn't even speak to chick it was just a stupid machine, and man did I get in so much shit from my parents.
Haha I think I remember hearing that Jericho rumor on the hotline I used to call. A few weeks later the one I called reported that he was the Millenium Man behind the countdown though.Just something that popped into my head.
