Did you say Orton killed a promo? As in, killed in a good way.

I haven't seen it myself, but I'm pretty sure your gonna need this...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought SmackDown! pops were dubbed in...

Also, the promo actually wasn't as awful as Orton usually is. I'm not saying it was 'good' by any stretch of the imagination, but not completely cringe-inducing either.

I don't know... The sound produced doesn't match the visual fan 'reaction'.

When they used to pan out after the glass shattered or "Do You Smell What the Rock is Cooking?" hit, the audience was jumping to their feet. For Orton's entrance on SmackDown, I didn't see anyone jumping around or even standing really, which makes me believe that the roar he received was definitely enhanced.

People don't have to stand up to cheer, they can be sitting in their seats and yelling. Look at NBA games, when you hear fans chanting "lets go ___" or "defense" people aren't on their feet, they're sitting down while chanting.

If that was edited though, WWE should use it more often cause it was so much better than that old cheap fan reaction they've used for 10+ years. But that promo was great by Orton, one of his best promos in months.

Very impressed by Orton tonight.
I'm not the type to slag Orton off regularly, but I wish he would pull off more performances like that promo on a frequent basis.

Smackdown does usually dub in crowd reaction, but you could see the fans were cheering for him, he also got many pops in the ring, especially the RKO chant aimed at Vickie and the "Excuse me" he did which was classic.

That pop sounded legit. Why would they have to enchance Orton's pop? He gets those regularly on Raw so it wouldn't be a surprise to hear the crowd go even more crazy when he showed up on Smackdown.

The pop was legit for the simple fact that it's Randy Orton. The guy doesn't need piped in crowd reactions. Watch Raw and you'll see. However I didn't find it any better than what he usually gets. It was loud no doubt but I found it to be like the ones he's been getting.
