In the last few weeks since they announced the main event, they've showcased 5 men, in Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt and Samoa Joe all being showcased in matches that have been built to have the men fighting to prove that they want to fight for the title more.
What's saddening is, with all of what has happened in the past few weeks:
Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor
Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt
Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Samoa Joe
Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns.
If you also count that triple threat between Finn Balor, Seth Rollins and The Miz, you could have had another gem right there:
You could have literally have had all of these matches BE for the title! You could have had a cool division of some sorts, but instead, you have them having screaming contests and big fight feels over matches that AREN'T for the title. It just makes things a bit less exciting, because the division is there, the builds to the matches on RAW are there, but the big prize that makes it matter is not.
